We went to celebrate our friends birthdays - both of them in a couple with birthdays two days apart - weird 🤷🏻‍♂️
We had heard good things about this place so were excited to try.
I was very excited to see a cocktail with my favorite local beer, crystal springs blood orange - they added vodka and Orange liqueur but it just tasted watered down to me unfortunately and was a bit disappointing - my second drink was a Manhattan and that was solid.
The oysters were excellent as was the artichoke appetizer.
All the food was very good but a step down from what I was used to in New York City - but it never feels fair to compare to nyc. My biggest criticism is there is a lack of flavor “popping” with a lot of food in Colorado in general. But I will say 740 front was a very nice dining experience and the food was as good as we have had out here so we will definitely be back for some more.

Dined on their lovely patio last night! Clean and beautiful with attention to detail. The service is friendly and attentive. We ordered their steak burgers with fries - it was AWESOME. So delicious, as were their margaritas. Will definitely continue to return for a wonderful dining experience or even takeout. Thank you 740 Front team!

First time to this restaurant a few days ago for some birthday celebrating. It all started well with amicable and attentive service. We ordered drinks, then our food and all was going splendidly. I had the salmon which was excellent. This is where things took a turn for me. The waiter never came back to check on the food quality. Also, the waiter seemed to vanish completely for at least 30 minutes. Finally my wife had to go looking for him inside the restaurant to request our check. My advice to management is to add more sides like potatoes with the entrees and to check on your patrons personally to make sure they are happy. I may return eventually if I have confidence that my suggestions have been taken to heart.

On the expensive side for food, but worth it, if you're able to.

Love 740 front Street and the family that runs it :-) great people just doing what they need to during these hard times. There has not been a skip in the quality of experience or food for the last 2 years I commend them highly for giving it everything they've got to keep up with everything that's been coming down on them. Amazing place amazing food :-) slightly on the pricier side but you always get what you pay for here! Great atmosphere wonderful surroundings amazing food great service.

The food is always good here. But for the price, you also expect service. It took over 20 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them. Our second round…my dining companion got his dewars 10 minutes(at least)before I got a second glass of wine. So slow , and the restaurant was not busy.
I would not recommend.

Very nice restaurant & bar. The food was cooked perfect. The beer ice cold, and the staff friendly and help you with most any request you might have. Historical location off the beaten path in downtown Louisville. Definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant!!

The service was excellent, as our server was somehow always magically there when we needed her and came to check in on us frequently. I had the Kobe steak and it was easily one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. The lamb pops and deviled eggs appetizers were also out of this world. Everything just exploded with flavor. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Outstanding experience! The restaurant atmosphere is fantastic - classic, clean and comfortable - with a sense of history that is easy to see. The bar is really incredible with the mahogany wood and its size. The service was great, with good knowledge of the food, the wine and very professional. The owner, Fred, was a gracious host.
The food was delicious with some items I was not expecting (bison rib-eye, wagyu beef, etc). I had the bison rib-eye and really enjoyed it. The beef had such flavor and was perfectly cooked - especially with good guidance from our waiter. The wedge salad was the right size, not too big and definitely not small. The deserts were well worth it.
Highly recommend 740 Front and hope to get back there soon!

We've been to 740 Front three times in the last two weeks and each visit was absolutely perfect. The service is, hands down, the best in the area. Very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic! Steaks were perfectly cooked. The lunch salad was delicious. And, honestly, we think they have the best brunch in the area. Last, but certainly not least, the craft cocktails are simply the tastiest and most creative around. Adrian is a master mixologist who knows his liquor. I cannot recommend 740 Front highly enough.

Enjoyed a delicious brunch yesterday! The staff was really kind and helpful. The 740 Benedict and raspberry cocktail were amazing. The potatoes were a bit over cooked, and there were whole cloves of garlic in there which looked like the potatoes, so be careful! The wait was also a bit long, especially considering we were the only people inside. (A few outside.) Despite a couple hiccups, I'll definitely be back.

I have dined at 740 Front several times, both for lunch and dinner. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Boulder County. Excellent food, service, menu, atmosphere, pricing and place to enjoy alone or with friends. I grew up in a fine dining restaurant that my parents owned for 32 years so I am a bit of a "food snob" so to rate 740 Front with 5 stars is a big deal!!

Louisville is a wonderful, small, former mining-town community with a big heart. 740 Front Street is a historic saloon that is one of our favorite restaurants in the Denver area. We even have a favorite table! The staff is very friendly and solicitous and adds to the enjoyable evening. The bar surround is an artistic treasure. The varied menu, with wonderful specials, is delectable. Highly recommend this Louisville-anchor establishment. Enjoy!

Best and favorite restaurant in town! I'm there once, if not twice, a week. The food is fantastic, the bar exceptional, and the staff and service are outstanding. Owners Fred and Robin are wonderful people who have created the perfect combination of atmosphere and offerings. The weekend brunch menu is amazing, not to be missed. If you haven't been to 740, make a point to go there soon, you won't be disappointed. Reservations are recommended for Friday and Saturday nights.

We recently had our small intimate wedding reception at 740 Front and we keep thinking about how amazing it topped off our special day.
Fred and the whole staff were incredible. Flexible, caring and extremely professional. They made it easy for us to have a wonderful family dinner after a long day. We had zero worries as we sat relaxing, sharing stories, and enjoying incredible food.
Thank you to everyone at 740 Front who helped that evening. We will certainly be back as often as possible!
