Great food with unique items. Something for everyone. Tried the jerk wings and the shrimp tacos. Had sides of rice/beans, cabbage, and plantains. Everything was very good and large portions. The service was good and very helpful as it was our first time. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Also there were tons of to go orders while we were there. Seems like a ver popular place. I recommend if you're looking for a new place to try.

This place is absolutely phenomenal !!! The gentleman running the register was very friendly and polite. Didn't take long to get my order to go. The flavors were absolutely perfect. I went with the jerk chicken with rice and beans. The portion size and taste made it well worth the money!!
The food was amazing!! Great service!! We ordered a fried beef, fried pork, and fried chicken plate. They were all delicious and came with rice and beans, fried plantain, salad, a side of pikliz and sauce. Great portion size and very delicious food. We called 30 minutes in advance and they had it ready for us as soon as we arrived.
They also have a delicious bakery connected to the restaurant that sells Haitian patties and other Haitian pastries and fresh juices!!!

EXCELLENT food!!! The natural passion fruit was a but too sweet, but I just added water. I ordered the fried beef, it was excellent!!! A lot of food per order. Two people can easily eat from one order!
Free street parking. Francis at the counter took our order and was very friendly and made recommendations. We had the jerk wings with macaroni pie and it was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Delicious, flavorful, authentic island food. The Haitian chicken is a fan favorite. The proprietors and staff are friendly and have created a laid back cozy atmosphere.
I was craving the taste of home, and today I found it at the Caribbean Cafe. So glad we finally have an authentic Haitian restaurant in Louisville. Can't wait to try the whole menu.
Today, I ordered the fish (Red Snapper) made to order. I like my fish fried, but you can also order it stewed in a sauce. It does take time to prepare, so allow enough time or call ahead.
Never disappointed. Always stop by when in Louisville. Griot and fish are family favorites.
A nice family-ran establishment with authenticity in their food. I visited on 2/26/2023 and I had the stewed turkey; the first bite that I took, instantly turned me into a fan of the dish. I definitely would recommend the stewed turkey to others, and I definitely will order it for myself again in the near future🔥.
