Geechee Bayou

The food was great, we came all the way from Indianapolis to have it since my husband has had it in the past and really like it. But the lady who worked the counter was not very friendly. It was my first time there and I asked a question about different sides since I didn’t see them on the menu on the wall behind the counter, and she rudely pointed to the counter and said “they’re literally right here” and rolled her eyes. I ignored her attitude and placed our order. The kids loved their food too, and said they would return! I will go back but not talk to that lady again, my husband can deal with her lol.

The absolute best cheesesteak sandwiches compared to authentic ones from Philadelphia. I grew up in Philly and had many steak sandwiches. Barry's is about as authentic as you can get unless you want to travel to Philly. The sandwiches are filled with plenty of meat and cheese. Service was outstanding and employees very polite, friendly and courteous. An outstanding experience. Just wish I had one in Elizabethtown.

Offers a nice variety of options for cheese steaks. My order was a small with American cheese, peppers and onions and banana peppers. It is huge, meaty, under seasoned, but filling. No heat from the banana peppers. Fries were, meh, fresh cut, fried limp, no seasoning. Very nice ambience, clean, efficient, staff on point, plenty of parking in lot behind the building. Willing to go back to try more. Absolutely. 💯
