Review Tumbleweed Southwest Grill - Louisville

I visited this location of Tumbleweed today to take advantage of the free meal offered for Veterans on this special day. My server was Teagan, who was very nice.She offered some suggestions on my meal and that made all the difference. My Beef Burrito Deluxe was served up enchilada style with beans and rice. I chose a cold Yuengling as my drink. The meal, the cold beer and the service were all top notch. Thank you to Tumbleweed for the wonderful meal

they were pretty dead on a friday night. food came out quickly & it was good! tasty chicken sandwich. only complaint is that it’s freezing in there! may have been warmer with more people around idk

It was margerita Monday for my sister's birthday . I had the ribey dinner with loaded bo and mushrooms. Delicious

Had a great experience here recently. Mary C. Was our server. She was awesome. She made sure we had plenty of chips and salsa, and our drinks never were empty. She was so friendly and outgoing. She really made our visit a great experience. The food was very good too.

Excellent food and friendly helpful staff! Especially Roxy! She's great and we will definitely be back because of her warm, friendly personality! Food was hot and fresh and made perfectly with great portion sizes! Love the salsa and margaritas! Very clean inside and out. Clean bathrooms too! I visited this location 6/07 around lunch time and Mary was my waitress. She was absolutely phenomenal. Originally it was supposed to be a group of 3 of us but my friends got stuck in traffic so I ended up dining alone. Usually, I am weird with that and hate dining alone but Mary was so pleasant and kind, I didn't feel so bad about being alone. The food and drinks were great as always but Mary is who will keep me coming back for her friendly and wholesome hospitality.

The food was very good. The service was slow. They didn't bring enough chips at first so we were without chips and had queso there with no chips. I still intend to come back but slow service is very frustrating.

Happy Hour is great at Tumbleweed! Special priced margaritas and half-priced appetizers...can't beat it! Our server Elicia was fantastic.

I had dinner 6/23/23 in the bar area around 6pm. The food was great, but the service was the best. We had two waiters and they were amazing. They were loaded with personality and acted like they were happy to make your day better. WOW Tumbleweed, great job!!!!

Great service at 9:30 we a group of 19 people wanted to go eat. We called first and they where very happy to serve us that late in the eveving

I cznt recall the name of our waitress but she was amazing attentive and all the food was done perfectly well. Very nice and good service without the wait. Will be coming back.

From the minute we walked in the door we had a great time! The host, server, and even what we think was the manager made sure everything was perfect. We had our orders taken in a very timely manner. The food came out hot and looking great. And it was all cooked perfectly! Every bite was delicious! We haven’t been out to eat for quite awhile so it was a really wonderful meal! We want everyone there to know that they did a great job making our evening out a truly enjoyable experience. We will definitely make the 40 mile drive to eat there again and we will recommend your restaurant to people. Thank you!

The restaurant was kinda messy, and the hostess seemed stressed. But our waitress was really great and the food was good. Free chips to munch on while eating for food is always good too!

Never again!. Went to this location on 2/9/15. We were seated and waited for twenty minutes. No one came to take drink orders or to even say we will be with you in a minute. There were only three other occupied tables in the entire restaurant. We gathered our belongings and left..no one was in the dinning room to even see us leave. I will never go back to this location. It was the worst service I have ever had at a Tumbleweed.

Bad food. Service was slow and 3 of 4 meals were bad. tacos were cold and burger was excessively charred. not nearly good enough. got a discount from the manager.

Awful service .. from the hostess to my server. The restaurant wasn't packed and it took 15 min to get a seat. Our waiter forgot stuff and didn't care about our time there. Forrest seriously needs to be retrained. I could understand if it was busy but it was 8 o'clock on a week night.

Not impressed at all. 17 minutes to get a drink order taken. Both my and my husbands food was cold and it took so long to get to the table that our kids were in tears.

We are finished with this Tumbleweed. As a native Louisvilian, I have been eating tumbleweed my whole life. This particular franchise, or whatever it is, is awful. Fist of all the last 2 times I have eaten here with my family, my order has been wrong, and get this, both times, it was the same thing! Anyways, we decided to go eat there tonight. when we arrived at 6:40 there was a 20 minute wait. Fine. We checked in and took a seat in the waiting area. I told the hostess we had 3 people plus needed a high chair for our baby. So, after waiting for 30 minutes, which normally I wouldn't gripe about because I understand things get busy and you can't make people leave their table, I noticed several empty tables just waiting for people. I asked the hostess how much longer it would be, since the baby had started to cry and there were tables ready. She just told me that we were the next small table to be seated, there was 1 party of 6 ahead of us. Then she proceeds to start seating other parties of 3 and 4. When I ask what is going on I get nowhere. Then I decide to ask if high chairs can't be seated at a booth. She says no. HELLO tell me that at check in, that it might be a few minutes longer for a table. Finally, the manager, if you want to call him that, comes out and gets a table set for us, gets a high chair and we are seated. Oh but wait...then he proceeds to come and tell us to get to because that table was not for us!!!!! they made a mistake, but if we could just wait a few more minutes they would try and get something ready. Seriously?? By now we are starved and the baby was screaming. We just walked out. and believe me, we will never be going back. Terrible management. This is for the tumbleweed in springhurst, surely none of the other ones are this bad.

I absolutely love this place the fun atmosphere and professional staff are so welcoming! Not to mention the food is delicious and at a great price!! Definitely recommend it!

Great food, service, and atmosphere! I have a family of five and everyone was happy with their meal. They have great ribs, and a red pepper pasta that is very tasty!

For vegetarians, refried beans have pork in it. Waitress dint inform us when we went there first time, so make sure to ask in detail if you follow certain diet.
