Havana Bakery Cafe - Louisville - Photo album

One of my favorite bakeries in Louisville. The price is affordable, food is delicious, they always have some new stuff too. We're obsessed with their papa rellena, ask for the sauce because they sometimes forget, it's the perfect combination 🤤
Delicious Cuban food, lovely baked goods at good prices. The tres leches cake nearly made me cry it was so good!
Great atmosphere. Clean and everything is made in house. Authentic. Would 100% recommend.
Beautiful place. Great pastries!!! Also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are very friendly. They don't speak much English but that's why the food is so great. Would recommend this place to anyone. Restrooms were clean as well.
Great food! The service is great and friendly. The seating is limited but they appear to do a lot of takeout so we had no trouble getting a table. They are also a bakery so lots of great breads and deserts as well.
Enjoyed a great meal from Sweet Havana during a private event with friends that are family. Everything.. everything was fantastic! The second plate and the dessert, not pictured, but thoroughly enjoyed. So grateful there was abundance to take home and looking forward to that as well.
Came down to Louisville for a weekend trip and tried this yummy little restaurant... We tried a variety of foods - Cuban sandwich, tamale, potato ball (I don't know the actual name), croquetta (don't know if that spelling is right lol but it is fried dough with ham in it), and pastries... We had caf
Tres leches cake was delicious! What ever those fried balls were were also very yummy, filled with ground beef and potatoes. Looks like they have a very nice event venue here too. Definitely recommend checking this spot out.
My family & I live in Florida & we visit New Albany for the holidays. Every year, we must make a trip to this restaurant because it's SO GOOD. We originally came for the cuban coffee and stuck around for the cuban sandwiches, croquettes and empanadas! Its a perfect experience every time. We LOVE thi
Last week was my first visit to Sweet Havana, and I can't say enough about the management, the service, and the quality and presentation of the food. But there is more than food and fantastic desserts. The place has 2 venues for events. I recommend the small one for corporate meetings, small gatheri
We love this sweet place. We don’t speak Spanish but we get by just fine. The custom cakes are so incredibly good. The food is also really good and enough for lunch the next day.
I have my wedding catering with Sweet Havana, everything was absolutely delicious, I have the food, the wedding cake, appetizers and dessert table too. The cake was the best cake I tried in many years, and so beautiful. I had many compliments from all my guests, everything was beautifully presented
We shared a cuban sandwich combo (it's too big for me to eat alone) Cuban coffee and passion fruit nectar. Along with coconut pastries and flan to take home. All of it was delicious! I've never had cuban food this good outside of South Florida.
We've been here 4x since reading the New York Times article that mentioned it. The first time we dined in for Sunday breakfast. Other than not having Splenda for the coffee, everything was delicious. We had the breakfast combo of coffee and scrambled eggs with ham/Swiss cheese and a side of bacon a
Excellent Cuban Bakery! The Cuban Bread is light and airy and has that perfect smell only Cuban bread has. Fantastic sandwiches and lots of variety. Also, a wonderful place to order birthday cakes. Tucked back behind a strip mall so GPS might not get you there exactly, but worth the trouble to wa
This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Louisville. The food and desserts are always delicious, and the service is very friendly and generous. I ordered the masitas last night, and had plenty left for lunch today, it's very delicious and I was compelled to leave a review!
We are from Miami and we are Cubans.. this literally gem… Cuban food mean clean fresh natural flavors. Lots of garlic cumin and Cuban seasoning. Guava which is underrated like avocado was for centuries. It’s just refreshing to eat something that’s not mash potatoes and burgers. Rice black beans skir
