This is a great place to get great food for a good price. My favorite is the Chicken Souvlaki. The chicken is so tender and flavorful and the tzatziki sauce they use is addicting! They always serve high-quality food and the veggies are always fresh. The service is also great. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants something filling and quick!

Had Pita Pit for lunch today for the first time, it's across the street from our office. It was delicious and healthy. I had the gyro on wheat, but it was a tough choice w/ all the delicious looking options on the menu. I'll definitely be back to try the other options.
I love the Pit Pit and used to eat there all the time. Then we moved away from Michigan and there was no Pita Pit near where we lived in Illinois. Now that we’re in Louisville we have The Pita Pit again, and I couldn’t be happier.
On a Saturday we decided to finally visit The Pita Pit for lunch. Like I said, it’s been a very long time (about 6 years) since we ate there. One of the things I always liked about the place is its different approach to food. It’s freshly prepared, assembled when you order it, there are no fries and it doesn’t come on a bun. It comes in your choice of a wheat or whole grain pita. I LOVE this idea!
The menu is varied, but most consist of some kind of meat(s), fresh veggies, cheese, and a number of sauces. Putting all those together and you can come up with a staggering amount of combinations. Of course, like just about every fast food eatery, you can make it a meal for a nominal fee. The Pita Pit usually offers a “local selection” food item that is created at that location. This location doesn’t offer that, sadly. :( … but that doesn’t mean you can’t find something great to eat.
The girl that took our order was very pleasant and helpful, and was willing to answer questions and to make suggestions. She took care of our order from start to finish and the end product was deeeeelicious.
The dining room very clean, as was the food service area. The drink area could have used a little attention, but any self-service drink station is going to get dirty when you have 4 people under the age of 12 in a family who are allowed to run rampant.
We had one downside to our visit. This downside wasn’t the fault of the establishment….not at all. It was a lady who entered the restaurant on her phone…talking and yapping….and continued her phone conversation through the menu ordering process (which is INSANELY rude)…through the food preparation process…through the drink station process….and right up until the I-can’t-stand-to-listen-to-her-any-more-and-OH-MY-GOD-she-just-took-her-first-three-bites-and-never-even-took-the-phone-away-from-her-ear phase.
No Joke.
Don’t let the rude, yappy cell phone lady sway you. The Pita Pit is a great place for lunch and I highly recommend it.
This place is excellent.I love their pitas expecially buffalo chicken, chicken souvlaki, philly steak, and black bean. Employees are very fast, polite & very helpful. The veggies are always fresh. Overall, i love this place.
Great place for delicious and healthy food with a reasonable price ! Staff are friendly and fast. Highly recommended.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the great customer service! And plus, it's vegan friendly!
Seriously my new addiction 😎 try the Buffalo Chicken. Sauce is made in house and tastes amazing.
