Very friendly service. Good food in a cute location! My chicken and waffles sandwich took maybe 10 minutes to be ready, while I waited I was able to walk around the Logan street markets and appreciate the local art vendors upstairs along with all of the other cute shops. The Silly Axe Cafe has lots
This location is in a Foodhall so it’s not sit down and be waited on service, but there’s cute shops and it’s a nice place. The waffle and fried chicken combo was delicious! I loved the sauce and pickle. I’ve never had gluten free chicken and waffles so it was a fun treat. I also love the name! It w
I am sure that if Kaitlin Peperato (the most recent reviewer after mine) was aware of the struggles the family has been experiencing she maybe would have had a more measured review. I give them a lot of credit for maintaining a business that serves our gluten free community as best they can under th
A Gluten Free Paradise! Everything in this restaurant is celiac safe and has delicious food even for those who do not eat gluten free. I had the chicken and waffle sandwich and it was fantastic! Gluten free food usually has an odd texture but this place has it right. This is a great place to stop
All gluten free menu that has so many yummy options. The location is kind of a food court building, which is super cool!
So nice to have this option for dining. I have no dietary issues but my partner does. I was happy to tag along and give this place a try. I had The Fun Guy which is a portobello based sandwich. It was very tasty and filling, yet I struggle with the texture of the bread, it tasted okay but kinda crum
The Silly Little Axe is in a very cute building. It’s store front all though a little quiet because it’s not as busy as the other restaurants around it, is inviting, clean and well advertised. There is inside and outside dinning. You place your order at the counter and then they bring your food t
Some of the best gluten free food and service I've ever had! We stopped by for brunch on a roadtrip and all 5 of us loved our meals! We even got some treats and fried chicken to go. The chicken and waffles was phenomenal! We will absolutely be back again and next time we'll try the large selection o
Are there before it moved from where it was right off bardstown road. Was really good and surprisingly not outrageously priced. Had a nice laid back feeling on top of the employees making sure you knew if something could possibly have something that might cause a food allergy reaction.
This place is a must go to!! Whether you are celiac or not, the food is soooooo good. I am celiac and I always worry about what I'm ingesting from restaurants even when they offer a gluten free menu. Cross contamination is real. I had the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and my husband had the bacon s
Had a very fulfilling dinner. The hot brown fries were very tasty. The banana pudding was so delicious that we got more to bring hope. Nice parking at the rear of the building.
5/5 stars. Came tonight and had the chicken tenders and mac and cheese. I have celiac disease so I haven't eaten a good version of either in years. Prices were fair for gf food and the portions were massive. This place is the bomb and I'll definitely be a regular customer!
Our first visit to Silly Axe. The chef/owner helped us with vegan/veg options. The “The Fun Guy” wrap was quite tasty. Cider on tap was quite a treat. Quiet atmosphere and excellent service. We will be back!
Was thrilled to find a dedicated gluten free restaurant. The food was amazing! The online menu is not up to date so be sure to check when you visit.
Funny pun. 😁 Nice GF dedicated restaurant. Very allergen friendly. Sandwiches and sides, plus a little. Fries are really good. They have a few desserts also. Free parking around back. The "Big Axe" was the sandwich for me.
We recently learned our twin girls are lactose intolerant, and this place really helped us enjoy the type of food we are used to without the dairy!! Wonderful vibe and perfect food!!
We have been to the silly axe twice, both times traveling 45 minutes off our path to have high quality gf meals, the food is simply very good. It's healthy and since we are sensitive Celiacs the fully gluten free is great. I strongly recommend them, and would suggest parking a short block away to av
