The bartenders were great! They had plenty of games where it was arcade games or foosball. The food was yummy and its very chill in there. The BBQ Burger, Fries, and Mac and Cheese was good if you don’t know what to get!

It was my first time going there but my boyfriend said he used to go all the time when he worked close by. It's definitely a cozy spot with games, drinks & food! I was torn between two beers on draft I hadn't tried before and the bartender let me sample them, so I appreciated that! They also had a special that day I wanted to try, but the bartender came back and said they had just ran out. She said her kitchen was willing to try and make something similar for me, so it felt nice to have them try and accommodate and I appreciated that as well! Service was excellent & food was great! Overall was a great experience.

So in all the places I've been in my travels, this has been the most important to my growth as a person. The atmosphere of friends and camaraderie of a bar you want in your neighborhood. The quality of the kitchen in the late hours helps with the busy atmosphere of the area.

Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of games (arcade, connect four, Jenga, foosball), great food. I had the Tavern Burger and it was delicious along with spicy green beans. Also ordered beer cheese with a pretzel that tasted just like those from a stadium. Greatly appreciated the music selection as well.

I recently visited this local bar and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a great selection of drinks and friendly staff. The bartenders were knowledgeable and creative, making some of the best cocktails I've ever had. The bar also had a great selection of beers and the food menu had delicious options to pair with the drinks. I appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of each drink and dish. Overall, I highly recommend this bar for anyone looking for a great night out with friends or a chill date spot.

Good atmosphere, good food. My friend and I were not impressed with the mixed drinks we got. Too much drink mix, hardly any alcohol. Way too sweet. We had to order extra shots to dump in just to be able to drink them. One of the owners was visiting tables, including ours. Nice guy. Cool place!

Let’s be real it’s a bar, with the best bar food you’re gonna find, games (they’re free just bring friends) local neighborhood hotspot if you live in the area you’re gonna see people you know. Solid place any night of the week. The staff is on point.

My favorite bar in the area! The drink prices are reasonable, the food is super tasty, the staff are chill and friendly, and the location itself is lovely. I love the arcade machines. I've been drinking at this bar for 15 years now, and I'm so glad it's been consistently nice. Plus they periodically have live music there nowadays. Hilltop has managed to survive through the same economic turmoil that unfortunately caused many other bars in Louisville to close down, and I hope this place stays open forever.

A fun place for dinner with family and friends or just to hang out since there are many games to play with and some of them come in a huge size for an extra fun like Jenga and Connect 4. The place offers variety of food, great beers and margarita!

Fantastic beautiful lady bartenders. A shot of tequila and a beer was only $9.00. At this price I wondered how they were still in business.

This place had a very nice atmosphere. You literally have to walk up a hill to get to this place. Inside the building, it has a very old feel. It is kind of creeky but in a good way. From what I remember, there is seating and then a few stairs with more seating.
There is also quite a bit of memorabilia on the walls.
As far as food and drinks, I got a couple of beers and chicken wings. They were both very good.
Overall, this place was a fun little low-key place on a hill that had very good food, or least that I enjoyed.
