Such a beautiful place to have a bite or two. The walls are laden with city post-cards and witty artwork. The dishes are flavorful, colorful as nothing we’ve seen before. Great service too, with attentive staff making for a very pleasant experience. Priced correctly , their menu is a trip of color,
I ordered a build your own omlette with spinach, mushroom and sausage with a side of jalapeños. It came with grits (small portion) and a HUGE pancake. Flavorful, delicious, great attentive and friendly customer service. I'd recommend to any and everyone! ** update** Had to update my review. I took
Ordered steak n egg meals it’s nice you can substitute your bread in the meal we chose French toast and sausage and biscuits. Just wish they had some franks red hot other than that very fulfilling and inexpensive brunch.
I always like to get a half order of biscuits & gravy to start. Food is always delicious & quick! You can also order a half order of pancakes, if there's one you wanna try because they are huge! Half order just comes with the 1 vs. 2. Bloody Mary was astounding, loved the seasoning on the rim of th
Hostess was very nice our server wasn't very friendly she seemed stressed and unhappy. Food was good but a little pricey for side potatoes. Had loaded baked potato omelette, crab cake eggs Benedict, loaded burrito and wake me up omelet
Great and friendly service. Had amazing waffle for breakfast. Can highly recommend coming here.
Excellent breakfast. I had a biscuits and Gravy omelette with Skillet potatoes. Hubby had a wake me up omelette with skillet potatoes. Both were fantastic. It was nice to finally visit Highland Morning and start my day off right with a deliciously satisfying meal. I followed my husband's recommendation and tried the "Ultimate Crab Cakes Benedict" and glad I did! It was a generous portion complimented with crispy fried potatoes. Definitely a good value
Charming little diner with a great menu. Prices are very reasonable. Usually pretty crowded but we got there around 10 on Sunday and we're able to get seated. Service is quick and friendly.
Stopped in to treat my self to a solo birthday breakfast. I was greeted as soon as i stepped into the restsraunt and promptly seated. My waitress was very courteous and thoughtful. Traditional home cooked breakfast and brunch menu. I ordered the"big" pancakes they were delicious and big enough for t
Great spot for a good breakfast. A bit on the pricey side, but that’s expected for the rising food costs. Wife had the Belgian waffles and a side of bacon. She eats them with just whipped cream, which the waiter was more than welcome to bring an entire cab out for us. Personally I thought they were
Here from Arkansas and missing the feel of a home town breakfast cafe. Highland Morning St. Matthew's did not disappoint!! I had the ever popular Baja Eggs Benedict. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. Small but big enough that no one was left waiting for a table. Would live to come again.
Visited on Sunday morning at 9a and there were many open tables but by 10a, all tables were taken and there was a line of people on the sidewalk waiting to be seated. Breakfast menu is large and varied. Food and service are excellent. Highly recommended restaurant for breakfast.
Update: came back, it's just as good as the first time! This time I got the stuffed French toast and Baja eggs Benedict. Both were amazing! The potatoes were sooooo yummy! My husband got the veggie omelet. He is super picky, but said he liked it. So so so good! I couldn't decide what I wanted so
Delicious breakfast. Have to get the biscuits and gravy (might be the best gravy I’ve ever had). Pancakes were also great. Friendly service. Parking just past the restaurant on the right.

Place was clean and staff was nice. Coffee was local and actually had a dark roast! Plenty of parking on sid
