Phenomenal food, staff, and prices. Stoked for when they can be in their own building and really expand their menu. Brunch looked awesome, but even a Saturday lunch of the hot chixen, gouda mac, and a pastry was stellar. Gouda mac was some of the best vegan mac i’ve ever had.

Overall a great vegan dining experience. This was our first visit and the entire family enjoyed their food, even our picky child. The fries are absolutely amazing so don't miss out on them. The mac and cheese is delicious and has a very comfort food vibe. The artwork on the walls in beautiful and the online ordering system is very unique. The only downfall is that if you are not ordering alcohol the drink menu is very limited but they do offer free water. We will definitely return in the future.

Awesome joint. Incredibly spacious, roof top deck seating. Food was great. You will pick your own table and scan the QR code, it’ll have your table number and they bring your food to you, can also pay that way as well. Cute and clean spot.

I've always known vegan food can be good. V-Grits shows it can be great. The Nashville-style hot chicken (seitan) sandwich was crisp and spicy. The curried chickpeas are served cold and have a delightful, potato salad flavor and texture. But the real star is the loaded Mac & Pub Cheese. Incredible flavor and creaminess. As a non-vegan cheese lover, I'd put it up against any Mac & Cheese out there.

What can I say about this place... this is my all time favorite vegan restaurant. I'm happy with the new location. Today I had the BBQ platter, first time trying this and it was very good. Yes I will be back to get this again.

As a visiting vegan in Louisville, I had to try V-grits and I'm so glad I did! It was absolutely incredible! The atmosphere was fun and chic, the drinks were delicious, and the food was phenomenal. If I lived in Louisville I think I'd be here on a weekly basis! I really enjoyed the jerk platter, chips and queso, and the Thai fries!

Scrumptious, delicious, savory,safe, and tasty! Mmmmm mmmm good from the unusual Mac & beer cheese to the outstanding All-Am burger to the YOU COME FOR THIS REALLY in- house- brewed libations v-Grits is truly a plant- base-r's home base in Louisville to have a safe meal but not sparing the flavor. It will fool the carnivore (trust me I've done this before)! Eat & be merry!

Had the Vegan chilli, great flavors and generous portions. Came with a small slice of corn bread.
They had really interesting bloody Mary’s too, with horseradish and garlic. Not for the faint hearted.

This vegan experience is one of the best we have had so far. We tried different selections on the menu and everything was seasoned well and delicious. The lemonade was awesome, the food selections gave us a new experience each time. I would definitely give a strong recommendation for anyone to experience this restaurant. The place is nice, clean, friendly, and comfortable.

Oh, my stars!! The food was wonderful. So tasty, so fresh. Great portions. But the ultimate was the chocolate cherry cheesecake. It was a little bit of heaven in every bite. (One suggestion, some of the chips got tuff, so fresh with every order.)

One of my absolute favorite vegan restaurants by far. I drove from Columbus Ohio to V-Grits and it was the best decision I made. My favorite item on the menu is the Philly cheese steak fries. I love that they make all their meats in house. And I can't wait until they sell the meat in bulk because I will be buying it.

Had the best vegan loaded Mac n cheeze ever here. It didn’t look like much but omg it filled me up and was so creamy. Super satisfying and will definitely come here again. I also had a chocolate chip cookie, highly recommend if you ever crave awesome vegan cookies. If the food was that good I knew the cookies would be too 💖🤤🤤🤤😋

I am typically a hearty meat eater and have limited experience with vegan food. I was impressed with this place. The hot chicken fried steak sandwich was amazing. The Mac and cheese was creamy, but I could tell that it wasn’t the cheese I was used to. Which isn’t a bad thing. Bartender was friendly and beer was also amazing. Definitely worth checking out.

Food was good. Staff is friendly. Did not get chance to try the beer, but will be back again. Great place for good vegan food. The cheese wizz is a must try. Im not vegan and i like dairy cheese but i really like this place.

Amazing people and even more amazing food. I've been vegan since 2008. I've eaten at vegan spots all over the country, and I've been cooking "veganized" meals at home for a long time. And truly some of the absolute best vegan comfort food I've ever had has come from V-Grits! Everything they touch turns into greatness. Now stop reading and go eat some of their food!

Since finding out about these guys, I've been a huge fan. Most recently though I used V-grits special Thanksgiving catering menu when hosting my family and it was beyond incredible! She had everything for us ready to pop in the oven and/or just simply set out from a delicious Thanksgiving loaf, to macaroni my family never knew was vegan to the best tasting bourbon balls I've ever had! I hope they do something similar for Christmas :) Would highly recommend trying V-grits whenever you have a chance!

By far the best vegan food I've ever had. My husband and I have had the veggie burger, mac & cheese, veggie dog, chili mac, hot brown, mozzarella cashew cheese, and mild cheddar cashew cheese. We recommend V-grits to everyone!

We finally caught up with you after seeing you on Cutthroat Kitchen, and I'm so glad we did! We tried the hot brown, loaded mac & cheese, and burger and it was all fantastic. The burger was by far the best vegetarian burger I've had; it was just a simple, good tasting grilled burger. I can't wait to come back for another!
