We love this place! Heads up Foodies - Authentic Nigerian food! The heat can be adjusted so don't worry. We've tried several items on the menu. We love the Ego Still Dodo/ vegetarian kale stew, fish soup, and curry goat stew. We will go out of way for their spiced fruited hibiscus tea called Zobo -
Wife and I decided to try something different and needless to say it won't be our last. Food was really good. I got the spicy goat which was amazing. Only reason not 5 is cuz I wish it was a little more spicy. But its a personal taste as a love extra spicy food. It may be a little difficult to find
Funmi and her husband are very nice people. The restaurant is small but very welcoming. Food is amazing. Try the Zobo tea cold ( it comes hot as well but never tried it).
Although difficult to find (on side street behind planet fitness) it is well worth the minor search. They have a good menu of excellent plant based food! Ms. Catherine’s Favorite is a kale stew with tofu, with fresh fried plantains accompanied with a flavorful preparation of brown beans in a mild t
This place is amazing. I was on my way to a brunch place till I noticed this gem. The food and service are amazing, straight from pot to your table. Next time im back in town definitely stopping by
Funmi's Cafe is hidden in the middle of the shopping center, have to look for it. A small place, basic tables and chairs and at first glance looks a bit seedy - a perfect set up for the outstanding meal we were to receive. I have never tasted food like this before, it was all African across the boar
Really good. I happened upon it through Postmates because they had vegan options. I had Ms Catherine's favorite and a potato kale lentil side that my 1 year old really liked. The beans that came with my main dish were absolutely delicious. I'm unfamiliar with Nigerian food but I would definitely eat
Great food. Friendly service. I found the Nigerian menu to be very unique (at least, for me) and I thought the three dishes I sampled from tasted great. The fried plantains that come with most dishes add just the right amount of sweetness to compliment the meal. Service was friendly. The place
WOW! What amazing food! Quick service. The man who took my order and gave it to me was very nice and helpful. Food (a decently sized order) was prepared and ready fast! And oh my goodness. The flavors! I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful restaurant.
Wonderful food. You walk into a lovely little dining area and one of the very friendly staff comes and asks if you need a meat or vegan menu. This just made me so happy, there's a whole separate vegan menu! I don't have to search and pick. I chose the mushroom and peanut stew with the corn fufu, an
The food was made to order and came out steaming hot which was amazing bc it was cold outside at the time. The portions were slightly smaller than I expected but after adding an extra side I had enough to fill myself up. The food was delicious &if it wasn’t so hot I’d have scarfed it down in seconds
ordered the vegan egusi Stew with mushrooms & pounded yam (instead of fufu) a while back and it was a wonderful experience. the food smelled like a combination of Thanksgiving, Christmas and warmed goodness. the flavor was unexplainable but satisfactory. i will definitely be back again when i have s
I Got the egusi with assorted meat and fish with pounded Yam. And my friend got jollof rice with chicken and dodo. We both enjoyed our food. It was a lot for me to finish in one seating so I will be finish mine tomorrow. I highly recommend.
I'm always up for a food adventure, and Funmi's Cafe offers just that. The staff is salt of the earth friendly and attentive. I went with a few friends and we shared each other's dishes, all of which were very tasty and bursting with flavor. They really do a great job cooking and flavoring their mea
