Seafood Lady

The perfect storm. I stumbled into this place at the best possible time, at the end of their heritage week celebration. I came in while seeking refuge because my phone was dieing and I was in need of a place to relax and recharge during my road trip. This place had all the vibes I needed, I took my pants off and everything (felt at home/comfortable). On this night they had a DJ that played what I needed to hear in order to relax and have fun, good beer on tap (mango, cougar), Seafood Tacos and excellent friendly service. I made such a great connection with Summer my food concierge, very busy but took care of me. When things slowed down a bit we talked about a variety of different topics. I am so glad I came here. I needed to meet the perfect strangers to help me feel a community connection and talk about the universe/human/spirit with. The perfect introduction to NULU. So many similarities to East Nashville and the Lower East Side. I am all about it. Check it out for yourself and make your own choice. I remember eating 3 Seafood Tacos, almost did not get the picture because I am an animal. Chicken, Shrimp and Fish. Delicious and full of flavor, the sauce is everything. I saw the chocolate cake and almost dove in but I will come back for it (restraint).

We are in from out of town and found this place when we searched online for seafood. Seemed like we were heading to a shady part of the city as we drove there, but felt comfortable once we arrived. Loved it! So glad we went and will go again. Great, friendly service, cute and vibrant atmosphere. The food was FRESH and amazing. My drink was well made, everything was done exceptionally well. Nothing negative to say.

Seriously, hands down the absolute BESt!!! Not sure what we liked more. Ordered the Shrimp and Grits, seafood Mac and cheese and the fish tacos!!! It’s a party in my mouth. The service was incredible , Mikale was the BOMB, the best lemon drop martini ever!! We were privileged to meet the owner and she was as so down to earth. I honestly can’t wait to come back and try more. Thank you for taking care of us!!
