Review Jason's Deli - Louisville

First time here and I’ll say it was better than what I was expecting. I got the Carmela which I recommend getting. Service and food was great and had a lot of meat! Next time I have to try the salad bar it looked good.

We had the salad bar! I didn't know anyone still had a salad bar! It was absolutely delicious! So many things to choose from and something for everyone! Highly recommend! Staff was very helpful as it was our first time eating in! We've only ever had sandwiches delivered! We will definitely be back!

Sam is the most kind and thoughtful employee! I was blown away his service. He let me and my elderly friend come in a closer door and made sure our experience was seamless and as good as possible! Wonderful experience!

I like it a lot. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The place is like a deli or diner ambiance, so don't look too much into it. The best for me was the salad bar, albeit it's a one trip thing, but they encourage you to load up and I can guarantee you that you will be satisfied. It is very complete and great tasting ✔👍💚 To test, I also ordered steak side with my salad and it was good. But the salad by itself would have been perfect as well. I wanted to try their seafood gumbo, it is very good. More shrimp than anything but good flavor and hearty portion bowl. I did like it a lot too. You can get unlimited ice cream and soda. I'll be here often.

One of the best salad bars in the entire city! Their sandwiches are also very good and are quite large. Staff is very friendly as well, and they have a good variety of iced tea and soft drinks. Baked potatoes are large about 9” long

I went to dinner on a Tuesday at 5:30 pm and there were only a couple of other people there at the time. I placed my order right away and I went with the Beefeater. After a short time, they delivered my sandwich, and everything looked good. The bread was crispy and soft on the inside, it was really a good roll. The meat was extremely tender and cooked perfectly. I didn’t really care for the Au Jus; I didn’t think it tasted right. But luckily the meat was so good; it really didn’t need it. Overall, this was a good dinner, and the sandwich didn’t disappoint. This is a good example of why I like Jason’s Deli.

Great customer service .... I always go there for the plain jane .... best in town ... Sam was awesome.... they are warm and welcoming ..... thanks to the team at Jason deli Shelbyville.... if I could give more stars I would .

Pretty basic atmosphere, but the location was clean. Everything at the salad bar was fresh, and I enjoyed everything that I put on my plate. The convenience of being able to make your own salad exactly how you want it was a major selling point for me. The pasta salad was bland and the tomato soup was okay, but I don't think I'd order it again. I'd still go back for the salad bar though.

First time here. Very impressed. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I got a salad Togo built off the salad bar. They build it for you, but u direct them how you and what you want in it. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. It was also a very good size, even for the price. Was happy with my entire experience.

I like it. It was good and fresh. Price is quite low, it's not expensive to eat there. Service was nice too. When I was there you can get ice cream for free.

Jason’s Deli is a welcome break from soup/sandwich/salad shops. We first encountered Jason’s when it came to Bloomington, IL. We were happy to see a presence once we moved to Louisville, and finally made our way there for a Sunday lunch. This location is pretty easy to get to, and parking is plentiful. When we arrived on this Sunday morning they had been open about ½ hour, and most of the people sitting eating were employees. The store was impressively clean. I love the atmosphere at Jason’s. It’s pretty laid back and homey. The menu at Jason’s is enormous, with various types of soups, sandwiches, wraps, baked potatoes, and a sizable salad bar. Each location also has a number of local specialties as well. My personal favorite is the Ranchero Wrap. Your order is placed at a counter (if there’s a line you can look at the menu ahead of time), and you get a plastic number to place on the table for order delivery. While you’re waiting for your meal you can get your beverage (I recommend the Black Currant iced tea) and, for your snacking pleasure, they also offer a couple types of mini-muffins. For dessert, FREE ice cream! FREE ICE CREAM!! Of course, the ice cream is supposed to come after your meal, but who says you can’t sneak a little ahead of your meal, or find a somewhat logical way to work it into your meal? Food delivery times are pretty decent, and it took less than ten minutes for our food to arrive. It was fresh, hot, tasty, and prepared just the way we wanted it. When the food is delivered we were asked if we needed anything else, and our extra napkins were delivered in no time. When you’re done with your meal, you can get up and leave. Jason’s cleans the tables, so you don’t need to take care of a thing. In fact, the staff was busy hustling while we were there, making sure things were ready for the upcoming lunch rush. All in all, a great experience. We highly recommend Jason’s variety and atmosphere. And, seriously, if you can’t find something you like at Jason’s, are you really hungry?

Stopped in with a friend, for the first time. She was treating us to lunch and ordered us a sandwich and salad bar. Wonderful salad, and then they brought out the sandwich and chips....I immediately ask for a to-go box because I knew there was no way I could eat that whole sandwich! It was excellent! Will be returning for sure.

These folks are awesome! The managers and staff are ALL friendly, the food is good, and it's always clean here. Today, when we walked in, the manager met us at the front counter and said he saw us pull into the parking lot, so he had a loaf of gluten free bread bagged and ready for us! Wow!
