Sake Blue - Louisville - Photo album

I was here for a friend’s birthday - we wondered where to go and this place was decided. I’ve had a lot of memory here… former significant others, my friend’s brother was the sushi was the sushi chef here for some time. Anyways, we did an omakase amid other dishes and they were overall all solid. T
I was excited to try some different veggie sushi rolls and was not disappointed! I got 3 that I've not seen at other places. I'll definitely come back! One of my kids liked the LA roll, minus the sauces. It's a fried California roll! Other kid got the Yaki Soba, which would easily feed 3 people! The
As far as I am concerned, Sake Blue is the finest Japanese restaurant in Louisville. The menu creations boggle the mind and the food goes far beyond excellent! The calamari was to die for, and our waitress suggested a roll the lakes of which I have not seen or tasted anything as rich and flavorful a
I've been coming here for about 10+ years now, and today I had the BEST sushi roll I have ever had in my life. Red Phoenix Roll is what I always get, and its never bad, but today it's like the hand of God made this roll. The fried asparagus was still hot and crispy, the ratio of hot sauce to spicy c
FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED, THE SMILE AND ATTENTION OF THE HOST/ SERVER WAS AMAZING. LUCIA WAS ATTENTIVE AND MADE SURE WE WERE SITTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. CONSIDERING WE ARRIVED AFTER GRADUATION SO THIS PLACE WAS PACKED. WHILE WAITING SHE MADE SURE WE FELT WELCOMED AND COMFORTABLE AND OFFER WATER WH
Sake Blue is a very good place to eat, but be ready to spend some money. I am sure it is close to market value, I am just not used to spending $30+ on a meal. Yes, I do realize that everything including fast food has gone up a lot in the last few years, so I am not going to hit them to hard for th
Food is great and cooked perfectly, I got steak medium rare. Atmosphere is a little on upscale side and I think you kind of pay for that. A little expensive. Service people were great but wait time was kind of crazy. Wasn't that busy when we arrived and still waited 40 minutes for our food. By the t
This place is one of the best places to get sushi or hibachi.. it's out of the way but worth it.
Sake Blue is one of the best sushi places in Louisville. Great tasting food and great ambiance. Expanded bar area is a plus given there is usually a wait for this popular restaurant.
What a great restaurant in Fern Creek! The atmosphere is very modern and comfortable! We enjoyed a hibachi meal and the preparation and food quality was outstanding. I highly recommend this place, but be sure to get a reservation!
I was blown away by the menu, there is something for everyone. We ordered ginger salads, baked salmon and Heart Attack apps, two signature rolls, and steak and shrimp hibachi and we could not stop eating, each dish was better than the last. Very prompt and courteous staff and a really quiet and rela
Absolutely the best sushi bar yet! Very good! Comfortable environment with great food! Definitely enjoyed ourselves! This was a very well put together restaurant! Almost as well put together as their delicate sushi plates!
We had a group of 7. Groups of 6 or more are automatically charged 18% gratuity. Our server acted exactly how you would expect someone who knew their gratuity was already locked in. Refills were few and far between. He spoke down to both adult females in our party. We wanted dessert, but was afforde
This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants i love everything about it.the service is really good and you always have a great time with the chefs and the show they put on while cooking your food. The soup and salad they bring are so good and the good is always delicious.the only bad thing is tha
By far our favorite sushi spot in Louisville. Hidden gem! Prices may be a bit on the higher end, but the rolls and portion sizes make up for it! Super clean on the inside and customer service on point! Btw, take out portions - even better!
Pretty much the best sushi you're gonna get in KY. At least from what I've had here. The Ecuador was so good, fresh tasting too. The big mouth was incredible, warm and creamy center with an external crunch to it. Of course the salmon cream cheese was about the same but with a smoky flavor that was o
I ordered filet mignon thinking it would be very flavorful but it wasn't! It was cut up in cubes and I like to cut mine up thinner and smaller pieces. Also it was served with vegetables that I don't like. The carrots, onions and broccoli were hard. I was very disappointed!!! I usually love their f
Hibachi was amazing and entertaining! Great food and delicious sushi! Definitely will be back. We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday and no wait for the Hibachi.
