Love the hot brown panini and the Kentucky stew.
Our group visited the Derby Museum and enjoyed lunch at the Derby Cafe after. The food was delicious. The salad, pulled pork, hot brown casserole, derby pie, and roasted vegetables were just perfect. Everyone in the group raved about the food.
Visiting Churchill Downs from NJ and had my first bourbon drink, prepared by Johnny Bourbon. Enjoyed my mint julep immensely but have to say, my husband's
"perfect" old fashioned was to die for. Johnny was personable, knowledgeable and the highlight of our tour. One of the best bartenders we've yet to know; wished we lived closer to enjoy his
company more often. Thank you, Johnny!

Best Hot Brown sandwiches south of the Ohio River! The staff was wonderful and accommodating. 100% recommend for lunch after a museum/tour visit.
I've eaten at the Derby Café on numerous occasions and have yet to have a bad experience. The servers are always polite and treat their guests with dignity and respect, and the food is absolutely delicious and on point for a great value. If your chef is Ernest, you know you're going to be taken care of.

Outstanding place for a business lunch or an intimate meal. Great food and marvelous service, nestled amidst the backdrop of one of the most famous racetracks in America.
A little bit pricey, but you are at Churchill Downs. Pay a little more, and enjoy the moment.
Good food. Just a smidge over priced for what I’d pay somewhere else for similar food on the burger. Really recommended it though!
