Old Seelbach Bar - Louisville - Photo album

Ended up here with a sudden rain shower changed our walking plans to another restaurant. While we had a couple drinks the night before we hadn’t really looked at the food offerings. While fairly basic and simple they were excellent and worth a visit even without a weather condition.
Awesome hotel and an excellent bar. Had my first (and probably last) 10yo Pappy experience, was amazing. When I win lotto will be back for the next tier up.
Amazing selection of bourbons and knowledges staff to help pick the best for you. Also had the best old fashioned in Louisville according to my wife Also - before you leave - check out the basement room where Al Capone used to hang out
Very good bar inside of the Seelbach hotel. Very great warm and welcoming staff. Food and drinks were really good as well. Our favorite is the minted gold. The wings are really good as well as the spinach dip. One of my faves. The short rib was really good as well. Definitely will return. Tamara an
Best Food In Town!!! This is my new favorite place to go and try new bourbons but the food 😳 The chef I had the honor to meet name was Carl. He is one of the most talented and humble chefs I’ve met. The food is out of this world and cannot be duplicated. I’ve gotten the same dish more than once and
The bar at the Seelbach is a great place to hang out and chill with friends. The low lights and overall ambiance offers a perfect relaxation space. The drinks are wonderful. I had an old fashioned and the signature Seelbach. The old fashioned was excellent: definitely in my top three. The Seelbach i
Classic location. Great selection of bourbon. Good food.
This place isn't bad if you are looking for a drink while at the hotel, but it does not feel like a destination. The derby pie was underwhelming for me and I feel like the menu was somewhat limited as to food. The drink menu, however, was huge -- particularly the selection of bourbon.
Nice bar, our server was very friendly and they have a nice collection of bourbons. My Seelbach Old Fashioned was good, just was expecting a big ice cube and it came with regular ice cube.
It’s not as nostalgic as you think it would be - but the cocktails are amazing. Enjoyed the old school bartenders (Bob is the best!) and the Seelbach cocktail - which involves bourbon and sparkling wine - wasn’t sure how that combo would be- but I loved it! My fella got old fashioned and some of the
Make sure you go with plenty of time to get a nice glass of wine, while you look at the phenomenal Bourbon List. It's going to take you awhile to make your decision 👌 Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The Old Seelbach Bar is part of the historic Seelbach Hotel. The ambiance isn't what I expected. I expected an old mostly wooden bar and historic. Instead, it is more modern decor inside. Once I ditched my expectations, I was impressed by the massive selection of bourbons that they have. My fri
Dropped in for drinks on a Saturday afternoon. Atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We stayed for close to two hours sipping on cocktails and watching baseball. What more can you ask for in an afternoon?
Excellent place to have some drinks or eat something, a super menu with food of all prices and a bourbon collection. Barman is well trained and he is really serious with his work, if you need to have a talk, enjoy and relax at the same time, this place is for you.
A bit loud, but great cocktails. The service was stellar. Wish they opened a little earlier
Lexi is friendly attentive server and very knowledgeable about all menu items and an excellent bartender. Thank you very kindly for your service!
In town for the half-marathon, second stop using our urban bourbon trail passport. Highly recommend the horses neck cocktail. Cindy, the bartender, is super knowledgeable about the bar’s history. Try to take a peek into the Rathskeller Room! Highly recommend.
