Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen - Louisville - Photo album

It’s always a pleasure tasting some fresh pie. So many places just order pies in from a factory but I’m almost certain these are made by hand in small batches. If that’s not the case then you could’ve fooled me. The crust was immaculate and the filling tasted bright and not overly sweet. We got the
We love this place! Delicious pie and ice cream!
Love love love this place!! Quaint little place with homemade pies, ice cream, cookies and cakes and even coffee. Very friendly staff as well! Their chocolate chip and praline ice creams are very yummy!! The chocolate chip cookies are pretty good too. I took home a piece of the mixed berry pie, wish
While visiting Louisville recently I decided to have some dessert delivered to my room. Being unable to choose just one thing, I decided to try several, which I finished off over the course of my four day stay. First, the Banana 4 Layer was fantastic. I rarely even try restaurant banana pudding, bu
The name is long and not that catchy. Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen. The floors are scuffed but the booth seats still shine, And the wrought iron chairs are surely the originals. Not many places these days have bells that tingle when you come in the door Its a place you want to walk into with
One of my favorite places to stop for pie in Louisville! They make a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie and I would definitely recommend it. Also, they have a good selection of ice cream and it's all very tasty. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. They also have a nice area outside
What a find for a sweet tooth. Driving in Louisville Highland district, found this little shop, easy to miss from the busy road. Nice selections of pies and cakes. Even little Ohio buckeyes. Variety of ice cream. Delicious, sweet and an old time atmosphere with window stools and even an antique
As part of my five days in Kentucky, part of my goal was to try some famous local foods. Hi on all the lists was the derby pie. However, I saw many places recommend that you go for a knock off rather than getting a frozen original. One of the best places recommend it was this place for its pecan ch
Walked right in, and placed an order to be picked up later in the week. Service was fast and restaurant was clean. My order was picked up a few days later and was delicious. Highly recommend.
I went for key lime pie which was okay. But I'd never had chess pie and thought since I was South I should. One of the most delicious things I've ever tasted, I loved the custardy texture and smooth sweetness. A glorious surprise.
SO MANY OPTIONS! you will definitely find a sweet dessert that you like to purchase there. I bought a Pecan chocolate chip pie, a slice of the key lime merengue pie, a sugar and chocolate chip cookies. Everything was delicious. I definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back.
Purveyors of delicious pies, cakes, and ice cream. They open early however they do not serve breakfast pastries. Everyone loves their upside down caramel cupcakes. The chess pie is the best in town.
I suggest you get there right now!! Oh my Lord this caramel dutch apple pie was the best thing I've ever eat! I lucked out and it was on a $2 slice oops shelf. The only oops for me was it was the only piece. The Buckeye's were amazing and my son's ice cream cone was considered one scoop but wow that
I LOVE THIS PLACE. I come for the ice cream and I don't even like ice cream. They make any ice cream from a grocery store seem pointless. This is made of food, not thickeners. This is what ice cream should taste and feel like. I love the icy crystals. Just plain vanilla is ethereal in every bite. I
The selection is terrific and I'm so glad I stopped in while visiting Louisville. I didn't care for the graininess of the homemade icecream, but that's just a personal preference. the sugar cookie we ordered was pretty dry, but it was 10 p.m. when we came in. I brought home an entire strawberry rhub
