Actor and dancer (film and Broadway), president of SAG 1944-46, U.S. Senator R-CA 1964-70. My first employer, mentor. A true gentleman and fun to listen to his many life stories.
The airport shuttle dropped me off right in front of David Niven's star! Look for him in the classic WW2 movie, "Where the Eagles Dare!". The famous Chinese Theater and Madame Tussauds are nearby, and you're in the middle of so much of the iconic history of American entertainment.
A lot of soups and attractions were closed.
The walk of fame appeared dirty and grimmey.
