Upscale coffee with a wide variety of specialty drinks and craft beans. Go in the morning, and you will see they have a very loyal customer base, and the staff knows many of the regulars by name. High prices, but an equally high quality of drinks, ingredients, and service. There is usually street parking available, and there are lots of places nearby to walk around or sit to enjoy your coffee break - a welcome neighborhood spot, especially during COVID (their line and delivery windows are both well-thought-out.

This place usually has a line but its not because they are slow....its because the coffee is great, the bakery is bomb, the customer service is on point! I always eat my bakery to fast to even snap a photo or im half way done and there are crumbs everywhere

We’ve been regulars at Maru for almost a year now, and I can say they’ve been consistant with the great quality they offer. While still trying out different coffee places all over LA, Maru became our benchmark for coffee especially for espressos and our rating now is either “as good as Maru” or “not even close to Maru” :D I usually take an espresso and my husband gets his favorite cappuccino and croissant here. What Maru serves, is excellent quality beans and a super positive ambiance. The entire customer service experience is awesome.

Got the Let's Avo-cuddle toast & infamous Birthday Cake Latte. Happy with my experience! I appreciate the sea salt on the avo toast. For the bday cake latte, you can ask for it to be on the less sweeter side. Such nice customer service too! & a back section for additional seating

I can't get over how good their coffee is. Try their signature menu items even if you don't think the descriptions fit your taste - you're likely to find a new favorite.

Grade A service! There was a little bit of a line but they got the order done super quick! One of the best espresso spots in LA! I would come again. It’s very chic and minimal inside. I love the ceramic shot glasses. They fit the shop’s aesthetic perfectly.
