Shadow Hills' Hidden Gem!! This is some of the best Italian cuisine in all of Los Angeles! It even gives Ponte a run for its money. The food was absolutely incredible! Everything was perfectly seasoned, beautiful in presentation and probably the closest in authentic Italian cooking that I've tasted in Los Angeles. I ordered one of the specials that evening and every bite was packed with flavor! You know the chef cares about the dish when the pasta alone has its own taste - not to mention how perfectly cooked, juicy and savory the chicken was. And the tomato sauce was to die for. The dish was perfectly balanced with every ingredient working in tandem without any one item overpowering the other flavors. The service was impeccable with everyone paying attention to make sure that you had a wonderful experience and I loved how all of the staff and management had a friendly, happy and welcoming disposition. The property is gorgeous especially when it's lit up at night with its signature water wheel. And the history of the location itself is incredibly fascinating. The owners should be proud of the incredible unique experience they've created for diners. If you're ever in the mood for excellent Italian food, you DEFINITELY need to give this little gem a visit. It's certainly beyond worth it.

This fantastic and unusual Italian restaurant is a delightful experience. The chicken piccata was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The outdoor patio is surrounded by interesting old structures and lovely plants. There is some road noise (the restaurant is on a busy road) but it doesn't take away from the quaint atmosphere of this historic place. The service was great. This place is definitely worth a visit for a great meal and fun setting if you are in the area.

My sisters and I enjoyed ourselves dinning at Villa Terraza. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and pleasant. Our server, Patricia was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu items. The food was fresh and good sized portions. We started with the Caprese and it was delicious. The dinner salad was larger and very good. The garlic cheese bread was perfectly done, buttery, cheesy, and just the right amount of garlic! I ate the Salmon Supreme, one of the specials for the evening, which was fettuccine noodles, large pieces of salmon, spinach with red sauce. Tiramisu was heavenly! All of the ingredients tasted homemade and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant, well worth the price!

Excellent food, charming atmosphere! You will love this hidden little gem. The service is great, the food is awesome, the prices are very reasonable and the darling little booths are great for a romantic dinner for two. ( We were a foursome and found the booth a little crowded. Will sit at a table next time.) Will definitely come back. There were too many things on the menu that we wanted to order! I had the trout almandine… the best I have ever had! The sauce is to die for. The place is tricky to find, but worth checking out.

This evening, we celebrated my wife’s birthday dinner at the Villa Terraza restaurant! We conveniently made the reservation online several days ago and they confirmed within several minutes! We were greeted by the CEO Jorge Valladares and his staff! This unique restaurant was originally called Old Vienna Restaurant back in 1936 and has lots of history and folklore! We shared a nice bottle of Napa wine, Caesar salad and chicken Parmigiana which came wit spaghetti! All of the food was quality and delicious and our server has several years experience at the Villa Terraza! She was outstanding and attentive! Needless to say we had a unique dining experience! We are looking forward to returning soon!

Great atmosphere, but the Lasagna was not traditional, a great disappointment. I was looking forward to a tasty red sauce; nope!

My wife had been there twice before and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. On this visit, my first, atmosphere still very good and though dish was very tasty, the chicken was a bit dry. Very unique looking, in a cool way. Only other comments are we set in patio, so 20 ft from traffic and we were there at sunset, so mosquitoes had dinner too, left with 3 bites, not restaurant's fault. Definitely worth a visit
