The staff at the Echoplex were amazing helping my fiancé and I with disabled accommodations during the recent John Mayer show. Once I explained to security that we both have disabilities, we were pulled out of line and checked in first, and then accidentally told to go inside before John was done with his sound check. I turned a corner and I was about 20 feet from John. We were led back outside to the VIP area to wait until the room was ready. The venue was mostly standing room only with a small VIP seating area but a staff member got me chair and we settled into a spot behind the crowd. Pretty soon a few people stood in front of us, the staff member asked if we could still see and My fiancé, who uses a wheelchair, said no. The guy said hold on, came back and led us to the front, in front of the barricade in front of the front row. The show itself was awesome and because of the staff we were able to enjoy it hassle free.

Definitely the coolest place I’ve ever been to if you’re down for some funk & soul! The people who worked there was nice. Check it!

The Echo goes out of its way to make sure its patrons have a great time. I have nothing to gain by this endorsement. The sound is top-notch, sight lines are clean, and every member of their staff is truly the s**t. I'm impressed by their low-key tack to make things as comfortable as possible. My only complaint would be if they stop serving Dale's Pale Ale on tap! (lol)

Love this venue, really intimate! The security/staff are so friendly and helpful. Me and my friend turned up without tickets as it was sold out and the guy on the door was so nice and managed to get us tickets. Had a fab time here.

Neighborhood treasure, always improving too. I've been a patron since 2001 and I'll keep coming back forever!

Intimate, very cool venue. Saw Quasi and Jon Spencer. The sound was great which is important, I do wish they didn’t design the lights to regularly shine right in the eyes of the audience, it was debilitating haha. Heads up that the bathrooms are under construction (or maybe they’re always like this?) with the shortest toilets I’ve ever encountered. Note, they did not check our vax card upon entry and they have you go through a metal detector.

The Echo is a really nice venue! It was clean, fairly spacious, and I loved the lighting and disco ball. It's mostly open floor with some seating along the walls. There is a small bar and you get a wristband if you're old enough to drink. I paid $14 for a Piña Colada and the bartender cracked open a can of something and poured it into a cup with ice, which I wasn't expecting, lol. So it doesn't seems like they're making cocktails on th spot. They have specific security requirements like clear bags or clutches around the size of a hand. You have to go through a metal detector as well. There was a girl in front of me in line that had a small backpack and they did not let her in because it was not clear. So they're strict about their requirements. I saw Hey Violet, Victoria Anthony, and Wrenn. It was a great show! 🎉

Intimate. Easy to find. Lots of parking in the area that's free after 9pm. Bar tenders were pretty speedy even though I was there for a sold out show. Security was simple. The venue says they check Vax cards, but that wasn't tru the night I went, masks optional (apr2022). Impressively, the bathroom had toilet paper AND soap.

Sound was great. It was an intimate setting. There was only a couple hundred people there.

Went to go see Meg Myers! The best music venue I have been to. I attended the upstairs room (the lower room is larger). It's small so you are SO close to the performer. The sound setup is also higher end and enjoyable. Lastly, the beer and parking are cheap. So that makes it my fav music venue around LA.

Great venue and gave no issues with service dog. Sound is definitely loud so make sure your pup has ear protection and perhaps still stand off to the side.
