Food was good, clean place, good latin music on the restaurant,i just would recommend improve the service a little bit by checking more often on the tables, also be a little more friendly. I highly recommend this place, food was really good and also they serve you bread that was nice! Don’t forget to tip your servers!!!
For 3 people... we had 2 apps, 2 pastas and 1 entree. We shared it all with a $41 bottle of wine and had a lovely meal for $148. Add in a $35 tip for great service and great recommendations and it was a good evening out for about $200.
I'd totally come back here again. I loved the neighborhoody feel, great menu and great service.
Solid and reliable. All I’ve tried has been excellent. (Try the pescado sudado)!!
Very decent food and prices. No air conditioning, so it was warm when I got there around 6 PM and only a few tables. Soon as I sat down, it got super busy and didn't let you until we left around 8:30, the two girls were running around and did their best. Other than a long-ish time to get the food, it was good. If you can, visit the Glendale location. Less crowded.
the raid was boring so now i have to do it myself

I am Peruvian.
I know what Peruvian food is.
Would I call this "traditional"? Absolutely not.
Does that mean the food is bad though? No. It's good. It's just not traditional.
Worth a visit if you're far from home, in terms of Peruvian cuisine, but if you desire some good Peruvian food, go to New York (or wherever there's a sizeable Peruvian community in California).
We had the seafood salad, and the seafood was crispy and delicious, with just enough spice so that all the tastes shine through. Then we had the spaghetti with cauliflower. The pasta tasted home made and again it was simple with good ingredients, just enough of everything. For our main course we had lamb chops and sea bass. The lamb chops were just amazing. I'm not much of a cooked fish person but my husband said the sea bass was great. Then we had the sardinian cheeses, each paired with a different honey, two sardinian honeys and one infused with saffron by the restaurant owners. Again, delicious.
It seems like a hit or miss…
My wife got some fish with seafood and a creamy sauce that was just perfect, very happy with the value for the price.
I had some grilled fish “à la plancha” which was terrible: it is some bland “swai fish” that isn’t suitable for this kind of serving, but more importantly it was having a strong taste of burnt (it wasn’t overcooked though, so it was like if the grill was not cleaned and had burnt leftover). Also the menu says that it comes with some “sauce” but this is actually some salsa and onions: I asked the waitress after getting the plate and she said many people are surprised about this: what about they warn us when we order?
The young waitress is nice but a bit “green” on this kind of things unfortunately: she brought me chicken first and when I asked her about it she said it was fish, I had to taste it to confirm that it wasn’t (really it does not look at all the same).
In the end they comped the burnt fish that I didn’t eat, which is always appreciable.
I put 4 stars because the ladies were nice and my wife enjoyed her plate, mine was likely a 1 star experience (wrong order and then “burnt” when redone)
