Love the vibe here. Super chill, unless it's the weekend, then it's packed! This is my favorite place to go for a coffee meeting or to catch up with friends. Their food is excellent. I don't want to sound like a typical LA girl, but the avocado toast is bomb.

Nice stop for lunch on our day driving around the city. Food was great and service too. Loved the decor!

Tonight was my first time at the Tuck Room tavern, everything we ordered was great. We had the brussel sprouts, the crab cake and the salmon! All are a must try. Wine was great too, as well as service. Loved it and will come back

The place is gorgeous, they have a good selection of wines and drinks, and decent food. I would give them 5 stars if I would have received a better service from their crew. Otherwise the place is great

The decor and couches are nice, and it's near my house, so I've wanted to like this place, but after three visits I've never left particularly happy with my experience. The food is expensive, but frankly not great--I've had most of the appetizers, an entree, and brunch and I was never wowed or even impressed. The cocktails are fine, but not great, which is disappointing given that they run up to $16. My biggest beef with the place is the pretentiousness of it all though; you can see their weird wannabe Patrick Bateman vibe from their website, and that bottle-service-in-vegas attitude comes across when you're in the restaurant, too.
In sum, this place is totally fine--your food and drinks will be perfectly tasty and you can enjoy the environment or watch some sports at the bar. But you'll also pay too much and it's not going to feel like a welcoming or authentic place. It could be good for a date or get together, but if you're just looking for some good food and cocktails and a place to pass some time, I say go elsewhere (like, say, Skylight Garden just a couple blocks away).

Great venue, good food, and friendly staff! Love the decor and atmosphere!
For food:
-The crab cakes are amazing. (We ordered another round of them after trying the first plate.)
-The tuna poke was meh.
-Sweet corn was good and piping hot.
-The braised beef was lacking in flavor but not terrible.

Perfect for date night nice and dark interesting decor to look at. Drinks are good fairly priced. Downfall is parking but of course it's LA

Our friend Jimmy Williams just installed an organic herb and greens garden for Sherry Yard, the most gracious creator and chef of this welcoming and charming bistro. We grazed on fresh and imaginative dishes. The crab cakes melted in your mouth and the Red Velvet Pavlova.. best dessert in the USA deserves a parade and works. Just insanely delicious. Please treat yourself and your friends to an evening at The Tuck Room. Don't miss the floor to ceiling book wall with mural. Thank you Sherry Yard for a dinner of delights.

I stopped in for brunch on a gloomy Saturday. The staff's warm hospitality more than made up for the lousy weather! Twinkle lights and holiday decor were a nice touch, too! The brunch menu has a special - $19.99 for entree + cocktail. For $10 more you can have bottomless cocktails, but I will save that for another day. ;) I can happily recommend the decadent waffle (it's magical), biscuits & gravy, and eggs Benedict with lobster. They also made me the dreamiest latte with coconut milk. This may be my new fave rainy day routine - yummy brunch followed by a movie at the iPic theater next door.

My daughter and I went to Tucks for my birthday treat. We searched around for some place interesting and unique, we settled on Tucks. Upon entering we were nicely greeted, the ambiance was visually interesting and cool. From there the Hostess tried to seat us next to the kitchen entrance when there were many other empty tables and booths available. We had requested a different place to sit. Were seated at the window on the Wilshire side, nice view. We found the seats to be very uncomfortable, both the stools and bench along the window and had to keep shifting around. We order a pint of margarita that was very good. I ordered the baby backs, which were very delicious; my daughter ordered the charred cauliflower steak also turned out to be very good. The service was spot on. But because of the uncomfortable seats, I will not be back.

Loved the decor, the server (Eddie was amazing), the food was delicious and their Bloody Mary's both with and without alcohol were tasty and had spice to it. Dessert was a homemade cinnamon roll with drizzled homemade "Nutella". Ate the whole roll. The music played was great since we both knew the songs and to top if off, an Ipic movie theatre is right next door and we decided to see a movie. Had a great time. We will be going back soon. Thank you

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Really enjoyed the meal though music was a little loud for dinner conversation! Would totally recommend it!

Love the food, atmosphere, attentive service. But mostly love the wall of books. Perfect place for after the Geffen theatre. We ate at the bar and and the shrimp salad and chicken schnitzel. Both were delicious. Be sure to have the Tuck Old Fashioned. The whiskey is marinated in figs and walnuts.

You better love a high-activity level, because this place has it!!! Not your leisurely, comfy, tavern...movement!!!...conversation!!!...at the well-serviced bar, at tables or at couches and armchairs placed around the room. Check out the floor to ceiling artwork constructed entirely of books!!!

Food was fantastic. A bit pricey for what it was but very delicious. Service was spotty. Two waiters for the entire restaurant meant lots of waiting. Drinks were phenomenal. I recommend this place. Adjacent to the theater Ipix so dinner and a movie all on one property.

8 of us celebrated a friend's birthday. We all agreed that the wonderful food, atmosphere, service and engaging owner of the owner made for a great evening. From the broccoli, poke , fingerling potatoes to the set a bass, chicken and lobster salad(tons of lobster) everything was great. We were treated to 4 beautiful and yummy desserts. We practically licked the plates. Goodby diets!

Two words Sherry Yard. I have followed her career and am never disappointed at the way she makes simple things sublime. My palate has been educated by her and her cookbooks are the best for learning to be creative with baking.

Delicious and probably one of the better deals on Dine LA Restaurant Week. A lot of food for the price. Also will have to come back for the "choose your own adventure" cocktails.
