Thank you shiki sushi once again for going above and beyond with great service food freshest fish and those flavors... I can't eat sushi anywhere else it's just not the same
Hele lekkere sushi vers en zeer smaakvol, voor een redelijke prijs. Zo ken ok ze in Nederland niet
Danny the sushi chef was great. My family enjoyed it and we'll be back.
Plays with recommended by a neighbor of mine didn't know what to expect when we showed up. We were very pleased with the restaurant itself and we were even more pleased with the food variety that they have a this sushi restaurant. I would definitely go back I do recommend this place very good food excellent service
I love this Sushi place ! It's the best Sushi in Los Angeles !
I was treated to a night out with friends and the experience was amazing! Food just kept coming out and more delicious every time it appeared. From the selection of dishes, the freshness, quality and the friendly and attentive staff, I was amazed and I will return.
The best sushi EVER!! I’ll go back as often as I can. YUM!
Amazing place, delicious food and great service
Had the best time. The manager was a hands on person and we loved him.
What I like about Shiki Sushi are a couple of things.
First off, the food is consistently good.
Secondly, I like that there are different Japanese cuisines in the menu. This does not happen so often, that I have seen, along Ventura Blvd. I usually end up going to Alhambra, Monterey Park, Gardena, Torrance, or Little Tokyo when I want different things, especially for Yakitori. It is nice to know there is one so close to home that has many Yakitori items.
I did live in Japan for 2 years, so there are certain items I do miss. (Especially Yosenabe. I don't think Shiki has Yosenabe on the menu. I don't think it is on any menus in the LA area, bummer. I also miss a good Yakisoba made out of freshly made noodles. Not sure if that is on the menu. I usually eat it for lunch, not dinner, so I didn't even look.
Anyway, last night I had a yakitori appetizer and the Beef teriyaki/tempura combo. In April I had the salmon teriyaki/tempura combo. It was all very good. The beef was very tender and cooked a medium rare, which was nice. I hate it overcooked. The tempura was good, nice & hot. (Ok, I do have a fondness for Tokyo style tempura, which is just ever so slightly different. But I usually don't expect to find that in California. I would probably be the only one to order it, anyway, bummer).
thanks for a nice evening!
This place is awesome!
The food is wonderful.
You should try it.
Love this place. Very good sushi priced well. I take my wife at least once a mount.
A great place for high-quality sushi at an affordable price point. The Omakase is amazing, trust the chef's recommendations. Special shout-out to the ikura with quail egg. Service is fantastic, and from the fountain to the beautiful Japanese murals, the place has a lovely atmosphere (pop music on the radio being the exception). Highly recommend!
This place is good with unique selections and good service, but the dishes with sauce have waaay too much sauce. There were a few dishes that we couldn't finish because the sauce was overwhelming. For instance, the caviar toro roll was ruined by being drenched in truffle oil (and i love truffle). It was just too much. If I ever order it again, I'd ask for no oil or sauce. I couldn't even taste the caviar or toro! But I'd def go back. The king crab sashimi was the best of the night! Very good!
Very nice place, casual atmosphere. I like that it was open past 2pm when most high end sushi places close after lunch.
Extremely polite and efficient staff. Relaxed ambiance and music.
Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful and not overpowered by too much fussiness. You could distinctly taste each fish. The serving sizes were correct for the quality and price.
The green tea creme brulee was a delightful finish. Next time I'll try the green tea tempura ice cream 😊
Definitely recommend it.

Please leave me a thumbs up if you like the review! Domo arrigato!
Great flavors accompanied by a soft atmosphere and attentive service. Plus one of the few places where LIVE UNI/Sea urchin is always on the menu. Def worth it to check out if a food lover. The specials are truly worth the name.
Their sashimi salad is sooooo good! Quality fish! Very fresh! Little more expensive but worth it.
They are one of my favorite restaurants to go to. Their Salmon and Ribeye teriyaki dishes are awesome. The teriyaki sauce is made in house and is the bomb. And the Ahi sushi with Ponzu sauce is amazing! They use real crab for their California rolls as well. Been coming here for over 15 years.
