Everything about this place is superb! From the great and timely customer service to the high-quality food. The highlight of the meal was the grits. Being from the South, I'm leery of ordering grits outside of the South. However when I found out the owners were from Louisiana, I knew I was in good hands. And they did not disappoint! I kept dipping my fried catfish in my boyfriend's short ribs gravy just because I needed to soak up all the flavor.
This is a place that truly lives up to its name. I highly recommend this establishment and will be back next time I visit LA.

However the food is great here. The customer service is awesome too. I love bringing family here from the South!

Shrimp Étouffée was off the , catfish and jumbo shrimp always poppin! This my spot!
Customer service was top tier. The 2 gentleman that served us were so kind and accommodating. Food was delicious and fresh also. Biscuits were my favorite with the fried shrimp and fish 😋 my friend said the chicken tenders needed more seasoning so I would recommend getting something else but other than that everything was well cooked and seasoned.
Hands down, the food is worth the wait! I ordered the croquettes and my brother ordered the fried pork chops. Delicious!!
Wow what a beautiful experience I had here!!! The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing and Willie served us exceptionally!!! This is definitely a place to start off an amazing Sunday!!!

Our family celebration for Uncle Howard Curry Pre 84th Birthday Breakfast Bash was a huge success. The team was awesome
Clean establishment, friendly, good service. Great coffee strong but smooth served with biscuits just like my mother used to make. Had the salmon croquettes with eggs and grits absolutely mouth-watering delicious! Portions are very generous, highly recommend this place one of LA's best kept secrets hopefully not for long, black owned please support this place 💯
Absolutely delicious and HUGE portions, great attentive & cordial service from Joe. He helped us with great pride and courtesy. That shows confidence in what your serving! Everything was VERY clean ...the bathroom and tables. I had the catfish and my sister had the salmon croquet. Both excellent. Alllll the orders that I saw served looked fantastic.
