Toshi Sushi - Los Angeles - Photo album

omakase set was really worth money. fresh food. friendly staffs. nabeyaki was good too. if you love plum wine its good to try. they can warm the wine for you. TRY STH NEW IN JAPANESE RESTAURANTS NOT JUST ROLLS.
We ordered sushi combo, Cali roll, spicy tuna roll, two different bento, winter special udon and sake with salad and miso. The food over all was good. I felt that the fish wasn't THAT fresh but the udon and rolls are great. Really tiny but authentic place I'd say. The price isn't too bad considering
Got the Tori sushi combination ($19.96), comes with 12 pieces and includes a small salad and miso soup. Overall the meal was great - high quality fresh fish, good service, and a cozy setting. The menu is pretty basic - sushi, sashimi, and a few different Benton box meals. As with most of little Toky
Best uni ever. If you think uni has an acquired taste because it is strong and fishy, it's only because you've never tried really fresh ones. The ones we had here is very light and very sweet. I was told that most of the uni in Japan are harvested here locally which means you get the best of the bes
Went in for lunch on a weekend and found the place to have a few tables but fairly open otherwise. Sushi lunch was good but not filling. Loved the service though and they were very nice. The decorations are simple if bordering on spartan.
Toshi prepares fresh and pure sushi. If you want to appreciate the fish you are eating go here. If you love overly saucy and over the top rolls that cover up the poor quality fish, you won't find that here. Enjoy what you eat and eat what you deserve.
Tried the Toshi Chiraishi. Fresh sashimi served over a bed of sushi rice. Premium fish including Ootoro, Uni and Ikura among others. The Bento was also a great deal, with delicious tempura that was not oily at all. Definitely recommend
Delicious Edo style sushi. Fresh seafood. Talented and friendly chef/owner, Toshihiko-san. I mostly eat my lunch here. My favorite delicacy is natto. Toshi-san knows that I'm a regular. I hope that more visitors will love to visit again and again, both for lunch and dinner.
The food here was excellent, I got a bento box which had rice two meat choices, seaweed, and condiments. The servings are very generous.
Unfortunately Toshi is closing end of June '17. Sushi and tempura have been great at lower prices.
Nice atmosphere, great taste, very fresh sushi and rolls, actually the best I ever tried.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Iced tea & Nigri: Scallop & Salmon, Prices are reasonable.
