The food is creative and excellent. There is a lot to choose from. The atmosphere is just perfect, if you are not in the sun, but to go have a drink and something to snack on in the bar as the sun is setting and hang out on a warm evening is just awesome. The only drawback is the place is very busy and the service was not what I would have expected for a place so nice. Our water glasses were frequently empty, plates were not cleared, even when the check came, and it was not communicated well what was going on with our food as it was slightly delayed. Overall, it may just have been that they were so busy and it is hard to hire people, so I would definitely go back and give it another try since the food was so good.

Great food and we were fortunate to visit during Taste of LA. This meant there was the option for a limited menu but each item was a bit cheaper than usual. Venue was great, with a lovely rooftop patio that had umbrellas for those a but more sensitive to direct UV. Recommend you make a reservation or arrive before 12pm. Otherwise, it gets very bust. We walked up at 11 on a saturday and were seated right away

If you love wood roast, you will love this place. Even the bread is roasted. We did the prefix for 9 people. The food came, family style, no delays, piping hot. So appetizing that I did not even take pictures... We dug right in.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in LA - and I've been to a lot, even the Michelin starred ones. But the food is divine. My Italian partner, who is quite picky with Italian food, concurs that they have dishes here that are very authentic to the dishes in Italy, yet very refined. Although some have adapted to fit the tastes of Americans (e.g. chicken arrosticini is not something you typically find in Abruzzo) To access this place, you have to walk all the way in the back of Eataly, past the wine section. You walk up this beautiful circular stair, and you're instantly greeted with the smells coming from an open kitchen that features a wood fired grill in the center. We got the Arrosticini grilled skewers from the Abruzzo region. Get the lamb as that is the specialty from the region. Make sure to add some of the coarse salt on top because that just adds that extra flavor. We then got the Pane Otto, which is sourdough bread grilled with their homemade butter and pork fat. So good. For the main course, we got the Cavatelli al Ragu Di Terra and Lasagna Rustica. Both were really good, but the lasagna was my favorite. Not only did they do a spinach lasagna which is one of the most complex lasagnas, they knocked it out of the park. Darn, typing this made me hungry lol. Between 2 people, we shared 4 dishes and a bottled of sparkling water we spent just a little over 140 usd, including tips. The food was plenty and we were really full at the end. We didn't get any cocktail, although it looks really great. So I can see it getting really expensive. The atmosphere is great, and service was top notch. Honestly, this is the type of restaurant that people go to be seen, but honestly, just go here if you care about food, which is just chef's kiss.

We came to Terra at Eataly to celebrate the finish of the LA Marathon and absolutely loved the meal here. The food, service, and decor of the restaurant were all fantastic. It was our favorite Italian restaurant on the trip. Highly recommended!

Nice views. Convenient hook for your purse underneath each table. Slow service. Small plates. Very expensive. Delicious. Everything is extra $ - 4 small pieces of bread is $3. Grilled bread with butter is $10. Nort very many vegetarian options. Still, and overall nice experience if you want to shell out the money.

No complaints with the food, take advantage of the homemade pasta and the wood fired veggies and meats. Ambiance is excellent, the sunshine makes it a perfect rooftop brunch or sunset spot but a little hot in the heat of the day. It’s a tad pricey but overall I’d say it’s worth the price. Service can be hit or miss, it’s busy and depending on your server you might be ignored a little.

Terra is at rooftop above eatery with a nice view of the city. Recommend the assortment of grilled skewers. The meat ball is a fav with crunching skin and juicing and tender inside.

It took me 5 years and a bunch of stairs to finally get to Terra. The restaurant with a rooftop. It was beautiful. Trees and plants throughout the rooftop. We casually walked in with no reservations but I would suggest making reservations. The guys at the hostess stand were amazing, we started at the bar and then they gave us the best table on the rooftop. Pretty lucky. We tried a pasta, the wood fire appetizers, got some bread with unique butters, had some cocktails and got a bottle of wine. Everything was amazing They do change the menu to cater to the season. Perfect for a date night, great weather or summer evening.

Great balanced meal, reminiscent of a higher end restaurant. The Bombette was spectacular

Beautiful restaurant bar, rooftop of Eataly in Century City. I had high expectations for the food as it has this beautiful wood/fire oven and the menu has a lot of grilled items. The atmosphere and service were great, the food was ok. Small portions, nothing special. Still a great happy hour spot for some drinks with a view.

Terra at Eataly was a fun experience and one I recommend treating yourself to. It had memorable dishes, such as the 40 Egg Yolk Tagliatelle with white truffle. They brought out the truffle incased in an air tight shell, and weighed it on a scale before shaving over the pasta. I also loved when they served the Natsukashi (Japanese Whisky), they trapped Anise wood fog in the glass to create a nice Smokey flavor. These little details are what create memorable dining experiences. Overall, the pasta was quite good, but don’t expect to be transported to Italy. I will give them a nod for using authentic truffle and fresh in-house pasta. That said, I think I actually prefer buying the pasta that they sell at the Eataly market and cooking it at home for a lot less. The portions also don’t justify the pricing for some dishes. The service wasn’t all that great either, but didn’t ruin the experience. I definitely recommend you try Terra at least once.

Food was a little pricey but overall the experience was worth it! This is a grill so make sure you order one of their grilled items! I reckon we were a bit loud as we were umming and ahhing every dish they brought out, and stayed until we were the last group there. I thought we would be the typical annoying customer, so I have no idea why they decided to gift us a tiramisu at the end. I'm really grateful and hope my pictures do their dishes justice. If you are looking for a place, don't hesitate and come here!
