This place is nice, clean and friendly staff , I have been going there for 20 years . The only downside is they only take cash but I do highly recommend this place.

My favorite sushi bar and Japanese restaurant. I've been going there for over 20 years. Real crab in their California roll instead of imitation crab. Highly recommend

Fabulous. Have been going there at least once a week since 1984. some weeks 3 times a week. That is 30 years. Total of 1500+ visits. Does that tell you how much I like the place? Best sushi in town. Not Americanized sushi. Extremely traditional. If you like California inspired fancy rolls, this is not for you. Always very fresh fish and healthy portions. because of their high turnover of customers. Always packed.

They've got their sushi game on lock, from the freshest fish to the expertly crafted rolls. And let me tell you, the attention to detail is next level. The chefs here are like sushi samurais, and they roll up some mouthwatering creations. The menu, oh man, it's a sushi adventure. You've got your classic California rolls and sashimi for the traditionalists, but the specials are where things get wild. Unique flavor combos, unexpected ingredients, and fresh catches of the day – it's like a sushi journey for your taste buds. The ambiance is zen-like, with cool vibes and a sushi bar where you can watch the masters at work. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the staff is super friendly and makes sure you're well taken care of. In a city known for its diverse food scene, this place is a hidden gem in the sushi world. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or just a newbie, you've gotta try their sushi. It's some of the best in town, and you'll be thanking your lucky stars you found this spot. So, get your chopsticks ready and dive into a sushi adventure – you won't be disappointed!

My colleague highly recommended this sushi restaurant when I asked for the sushi recommendations. The parking wasn’t hard but I believe the weekend should be a little challenging to find the parking. The atmosphere is fantastic. The service was nice but you truly need to get waiters’ attention, seems they are too busy. The food is sooo good. Very fresh and nice. I can eat a lot if I wasn’t on the diet. Highly recommend the sashimi plate. Nice combination. A little pricy, so I gave 4stars.

Yesterday, I was denied eating Korean BBQ at two places on the intersection of 7th and Vermont. Today, I asked the manager of Antique Thai Massage if she recommended a restaurant in the area. Right away, she mentioned Noshi Sushi. I am glad that this place was able to provide a place for me to eat at the bar. The different tastes more than made up for yesterday’s memory. This place surprised me with a high level of freshness and attention to details, from the wasabi, ginger, miso soup, tea, sushi, and local creations.

Noshi sushi has never let me down to grab great sushi in koreatown. I do feel like the quality has been going down just a little while the price is going higher.

I booked at this restaurant last night Sunday for hangout with my friends. Food is really amazing and severs did a pretty awesome job. I met with hostess name called May. She was constantly refilling water and hot tea for us. Nice and respectful lady. This restaurant is pretty awesome that they hired multicultural people. Best food, great service and with great personality people. I love it and I will come back again.

The fish is fresh. They have a lot of different types of fish. Very traditional Japanese with a modern feel. Casual dressing ok. If you eat at the sushi bar, you probably going to spend a lot of money so ask for the total as you order, the food is that delicious.

It was my first time here. My partner loves this place and we decided to go on a date. The food is super tasty, big plates and despite it is a bit expensive, it is absolutely worth it. The place has been open since the 80s I believe and they have minimally changed the decor, which I appreciate it. Crew super nice, something I am not used to see in Ktown area were they always rush you to finish and leave. If you want great sushi and fish dishes and don't mind paying more than average, you need to go!

I looked up this Noshi Sushi restaurant on Yelp and decided to go to this place. We were headed to another Sushi restaurant but didn’t like its name so we changed our mind. We liked the decorations inside of Noshi that made us feel like being in Japan again. Sushi were delicious and the waitress (I overheard that she said she was from Mongolia) was nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this Sushi restaurant to anyone coming to Los Angeles. We will definitely come back here again.

I’ve been here since I was about 10. 25+ years later, in a city full of Omakase tailored for social media, and overrated raw fish, I’m grateful it still exists. This place seemed to have taken a hit post-Covid, and there was a 3-month period where this place started to unravel. I visited last week, though, and I’m happy to report that it seems like it’s almost back to normal. The manager seemed to be on top of things, and the experience was good. Glad it’s still around. Get the Blue Crab Handroll, and the Tres Amigo can fill you up quick. Nigiri is decent.

A restaurant whose existence relies upon a farmer who supplies them with ingredients, could so easily be a recipe for disaster were it not in safe hands. I love this place, I love what it stands for. I love there’s a full grocery adjacent so you can pick up some greens, local, honey, spices, carrots, etc. a visit to Ojai isn’t the same without stopping here. Just go. Thank me later.

UPDATE 10/26/22: after coming back here for the first time in 3 years, they accept credit card!! This place is still one of the best sushi deals in town! Everyone has their favorite sushi spot in the city—this is mine!! Generous cuts, fresh fish selections, amazing Japanese beers, and friendly service. This place hit all the checkmarks for me. Plus, they have a parking lot in the back. The only major downside is that it’s cash only. My friends and I scrounged together just enough cash for dinner, but we couldn’t go all out. Def bring around $30/person to be safe and to account for tip!

Had the sushi platter and crunchy spicy tuna roll and both were excellent. Freshness and flavor were both outstanding. Also, I like my sushi big, and this is one of the places that cater to that style.

Best sushi!!! Their tuna rolls and albacore salad are the reason we keep driving for about an hour year after year. They're airways very busy, specially in the evenings during the weekend. Their service is a hit and miss. There's servers that are great, always courteous and give great service while others just go thru the motion and even forget to check on you for drink refills or to add to your order. But once you become a regular, it makes it easier. If you find this review helpful, click the like button 👍

I visited this place on Saturday 29th to celebrate my wife's birthday around 12pm. It was close to where we live, so we dicide to give it a chance. There are two entries to the restaurant, one is located in the parking lot behind the restaurant and the main one is infront of Beverly Blvd. We enter the restaurant by the main door, we were promptly greeted by one worker, who asked us how many we were? We answered that we were 2 adults and one child. She escorted us to one table available at the moment and we agreed with the recommendation. Seconds later another worker asked us if we need a highchair for my kid, to what we answered yes. Then another worker suggested another table, where we might have more space for my kid, to what we answer yes as well. Once seated, we asked for a plate of edamame, two plates of miso soup and two cokes. After 5 minutes, we had our entries that we ordered along with our drinks and small miso soup plate for my kid, we didn't order it but my kid didn't want to waste it, so we keep it for him. We didn't really know who our server really was since another person ask us if we were ready to order some sushi? We just dicide to go with the flow and order from her. We order the teriyaki chicken and two rolls, the tempura roll and the California tempura roll. 10 minutes after we ordered our main plates, our teriyaki chicken came with salad and lot of 1200 island sauce on the salad, not my favorite to be honest so I just eat the chicken and stealed some rolls from my wife, lol. Rolls were ok, not the best ones but not bad, maybe I was hungry? My wife didn't finish her California roll, so it wasn't good enough for her. My wife mentioned that the cokes taste a little different, tasteless, with very low bubbles and I agreed with her but we were not sure since we haven't have one in a while. One busboy asked us if we need something else? And suggested if we needed some water for my kid? We said yes and thanked him properly. After that, we didn't get more help, we just saw many waitress walking around without really asking us if we needed something else, no water refill or any other kind of help. 20 minutes later we were given our check from another person without asking if the food was good or we need more drinks, I didn't even know if they had dessert lol. We got the check, asked for some to-go containers and leave. Overall, food was ok, customer service was ok, parking location was great, maybe you need some more improvement in the interaction with your clientele and have some dessert menu, might not hurt? 3 starts for the food. 4 starts for customer service. 5 starts for parking location. 4 starts for price. 4 starts for ambiance. Definitely will come back and see if we just had bad luck.
