Small AYCE Korean BBQ. Not fancy but tasty food. Can't beat it for under 30 dollars. Not a huge selection of meats but adequate. Come hungry!
That makes me believe LA is a huge Ktown lol. Lots of good korean restaurants scattered in unknown normal streets. Cost-efficient as well.
It was much better than normal Korean food in Korea! It was the best Korean food I could eat in America. Jon mat
Good quality and good tasting food. Nice staff and the meat came out fast. My favorite were the beef bulgogi and the boneless short ribs.
Came here by accident but what a surprise! Great food, awesome service. Quick and automatic services without needing to call the server many times for refills, additional orders, and grill grate changes...etc. many choices of meat to start with. Could be busy at times, but awesome BBQ place if you can get in! Sauces are great as well!
Such good food. The short rib was my favorite, followed by the pork belly. The bulgogi and the other meat we had were also delicious.
We loved it! This was my second time having Korean bbq so I don’t have much to compare it to, but it was better than the first place I went to if that says anything 😄
Service wasn’t great and there were no explanations given, even when we told them we were very new to this type of dining (my second time and my husbands first). Maybe would have appreciated some explanations or even them telling us which meat was which- we were able to figure it out though and it tasted delicious so I’d still give this 5 stars!
Food quality is reliable and service is friendly although sometimes you have to make a huge effort to get their attention as there are only two people working the entire dining room. Variety of meats is good and the six banchan are solid. Tofu soup is also yummy!
Really enjoyed myself here. I got all you can eat alone and had 5 different proteins. My server popped in before I needed him. Great service, I will return.
We were really looking for some decent galbi, as travellers of 5, we had expected to wait for a table. We waited probably less than 15 minutes and decided on the AYCE option.
We ordered:
- brisket (this came in a mountain! A huge mound of beef)
- spicy chicken
- spicy pork (it was 80% cooked, was a bit dry by the time served
- bulgogi (really good, again huge portions)
- short ribs (THE BEST, was hard to ask them for a refill, we were only able to order this twice and it took a lot of effort)
- 2 bibimbap (no gochujang, so it was missing a touch)
- tofu soup (nothing to bring home about)
I agree, service was lacking but it was a two man job and given it's an AYCE joint, I have to give them credit. They did their best to swap out the BBQ racks as frequently as possible.
One thing though is their floor is very slippery, probably from all the oil.
Cons: Okay there's no hot sauce confirm but I really don't care there is Sapporo I came in at 2 and the guy said you only have 45 minutes to eat. The floor was dirty, seats were a little sticky.
Pro: food was good serve fast I asked for things that came the price is good.
