Female owned and operated, service & food are excellent. The appetizer and dessert were the main home runs for me. I got a sweet tooth and a thing for small delicious dishes like the monk fish and king crab that are one bite dishes.

Have known of this place for quite a while, but only recently stopped by. The experience I had here was really good! The menu itself is designed to be a set menu, with courses coming out as your table finishes. Each course came out quickly and the service in between was amazing. My tea/water was alm
Kaiseki course that food without over seasoning. Fresh seafood and good quality meats. The appetizers are amazingly delicious. A great place to have good Japanese foods.

One of the LA's best restaurants and my absolute favorite restaurant. A few things I realized: price increased by around 40% over the past 10 years. The meat was recently changed during the pandemic. A new chef was in place of the owner chef, but I am not sure if it is a permanent change.
Great meat quality and great shabushabu experience. Loved it and would love to go back at another time. Also, loved the creme brûlée!
