Al & Bea's Mexican Food - Los Angeles - Photo album

A friend told me to come here. And I'm glad I did. My goodness the burrito was amazing, it comes with warm salsa you can literally drink it, is not spicy just oh so good and for the spicy lover's I just tried it and it's packed with flavor. Listen, if you don't know what to try please ask for
🌯YOU NEED TO GO TO Al & Bea's Mexican Food Restaurant. This place has been a Boyle Heights institution since 1966, and it's easy to see why. The food is authentic and delicious, and there's something for everyone on the menu. I always order the green chile burrito - it's huge and packed full of fl
Always delicious food . Love living close by.. service is always nice n friendly.. sometimes there's a wait but it's well worth it.. I like using a bowl at home to keep my creamy bean n cheese burrito standing up.. oh n get 2 burritos. The next day the beans get thick and uff more creamier lol so s
This is an LA classic, being from OC you don’t really find spots such as this over there that carry much history and even more renowned tradition. The flavor of their tortillas make the entire burrito and even the flavor of their meats and sauce is super authentic! Highly recommend to try the chicha
Nice classic location with Mexican eats. The beans were delicious, but the food was quite basic overall. The Al and Bea burrito was disappointing- I especially disliked the iceberg lettuce inside. A huge standout was the chile relleno burrito, which was a great vegetarian option. For two people, two
I've been coming here since high school which was in the early 90s. Food has always been good, then and now. I'd recommend getting the combination burrito, its the best.My daughter really likes the bean and cheese burrito with red sauce, I would get it if youre craving spicy. If youre in LA, go to A
Came all the way from Victorville to visit a childhood destination. The quality of the food has not lowered one bit over the years. The food was so fresh it was burning our mouths. The flavor of the food was unmatched. Its a family owned business that has kept it true, through and through. I would d
Al & Bea's is a family owned business in the heart of Boyle Heights, located across the street from the Hollenbeck PD. The food taste just like home made. My favorite is the Chile Relleno Burrito with beans. The best beans I have had yet. Another favorite is the Chicharron Burrito with their famous
Al & Bea's is always on point. Food is excellent and unique. All the years I have eaten here the food remains the same great food we came to love and appreciate their consistency.
The chicarron burrito was tasty. The Al and Bea's special was good except it doesn't need lettuce. The quesadilla should be with white cheese not cheddar. Will return to try the combination burrito. Price is reasonable, $6.60 for the burritos.
Burrito is so good πŸ‘ πŸ˜‹ I recommend the combination one with the sauce on the side its 7 something and for the regular size fries is about 2 something.. Down side is if you use card to pay there is a fee so take cash and no refills on drinks and NO Restrooms jic fyi..No parking space and the wait tim
The food is authentic. I would suggest keeping it simple. Only add salsa. That way, you can get the full taste of the meat. The wait may be a little long, so give yourself time.
My dad and his brothers have been going here since it opened in the mid 60's (and even before when it was called Joe's), so I basically grew up with a bean and cheese in my mouth. I am biased. That said, these are the best bean and cheese burritos in the world. Nuff said.
Bean and cheese burritos are AMAZING!!!! My husband and I visited last night right before closing time and they did NOT disappoint 😍😍😍 yes they are small lol bc of their delicious flavor I needed at least 2 πŸ™Š and my husband 3 πŸ™ˆ. Best Mexican food in Boyle Heights! I LOVE their taquito plate! It’s $6.95 for a plate of 3 taquitos with salad, rice and beans (I sub my beans with extra rice) Ask for the flauta sauce to dip them in. Spent $24 and some change on a Brice burrito, 2 large horchatas, taquito plate, side of 2 taquitos

Al & Bea's Mexican Food is an absolute culinary gem nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. Despite not having visited the restaurant myself, I had the pleasure of tasting their exquisite combination burritos thanks to a thoughtful friend. Let me tell you, it was an experience that left me craving for
