Boran Thai Restaurant - Los Angeles - Photo album

The shrimp wonton soup with rice noodles was very flavorful and yummy! Very filling for one person. Great peanut shrimp plate as well flavorful and spicy as we requested. Thai ice teas also was refreshing. Prices are great… food and service also great! Thanks!!
I loved the food here! I ordered a Boran Pad Thai with no shrimp and and pork, spicy. It was really good! We came at night, and the place was not busy at all. The server was nice and attentive. Family restaurants like this are always good gems to eat at!
Portions were huge and the food was good. I checked with the server and they were able to make the chow mein and the pad thai vegetarian. The iced green tea was perfectly brewed. I would definitely come back here again.
Service was phenomenal, very attentive and gave us helpful recommendations. We especially loved the fried catfish and the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli! We also enjoyed the Tom Yum soup and Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). The medium spicy is not too spicy.
This place is always a vibe. The food is so good. My favorite is the crispy pork belly fried rice. I’m legit addicted to it 🙈. They make it so good 🤤
We ordered drunken noodle and fish ball noodle soup. Both were ok in terms of flavor. Size was normal, we're 2 adults didn't finish it all. The service was friendly. All in all, it was ok for us. Had better elsewhere.
I loved the fresh food and aromosphere for the most part, but it's summer in LA with no air conditioning and no visible fans. For hot food and hot outdoors, it would probably be best to take it to go.
I had the Boran Noodle, which the menu says is one of their most popular dishes. It was good but not the most healthy as the soup base was sweet and must have a lot of sugar in it. They apparently have a lunch special between 11am and 4pm. I'm not sure I'd return as the restaurant is a bit dishevele
Had a fantastic dinner in this small, cozy but great restaurant. Had a superb red curry beef with extra vegs. Delicious. Will definitely come again before my trip is over, as well as in subsequent trips to Hollywood. Highly recommended for a great Thai meal.
Food was delicious, taste very authentic. However, I personally don't like the music they were playing, it sounded like I was in a horror movie, with some screams in the background. Another thing, we had 4 people and they added gratuity to the bill without saying anything, which was really weird sin
Amazing food and prices. They are all super nice and attentive. It's a very cozy feeling restaurant, and I highly suggest going on a rainy day :) Me and my fiance got dumplings, crab cheese, pho, ramen, and drinks. EVERYTHING was delicious and came quickly
BANGIN good food. Got the chicken larb (loved it-always add a side of brown rice and theirs is really good, whole grain and nutty) and the drunken noodles. Both were perfect. I took it as carry out but the atmosphere inside was really comfortable. New Thai joint for me..
Great restaurant! Small space, but very cozy and the waitress was nice, patient and helpful. They also have vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. My family and I loved our dinner.
I came here with my friends for dinner and was excited with the options on the menu as well as the prices. I got a very large bowl of short rib soup for only $7! They also had many options like curry, pad thai, etc on their menu that came out fast and delicious. They do take out as well as dine in.
INCREDIBLE service by Fai. She was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The food was super tasty too. Also, the best Thai tea I’ve ever had. I recommend 100%.
Great food, great service. I came in a group of four and two meals filled us up. We wanted to leave when we first got here because right when we entered some one was arguing with the owner about the food. The same person later came and told us about how the food was so bad, but when we got our meals
