Nice fast Eating place. Try it if you near by. Chili fries and cheeseburger are good. Neighboor is kinda creepy but you can always use drive trough
Mmmm. I dont know what happened, maybe it was the night of drinking at cinespace, but i fell back in love with this place. i guess after drinking anything fried tastes good, like those hot dogs wrapped in bacon. I would only eat at this one though, anywhere else, i would feel kinda sick after. But its good!
Great tasting chilli cheese burger and fries. Definitely a unique taste like no other. Kids loved their burger and fries. Very filling!!
This Original Burger shop was Awesome had my very first chili burger at 45 yrs old and it was AMAZING old school restaurant with History the t shirts were so cool and the shop has been around since the 50s totally worth going
On a recent visit to Hollywood we stopped by Tommy's world famous hamburgers. In a place where food can be mediocre and very expensive Tommy's was a sight for sore eyes. The chili cheese burgers and chili cheese fries were great and at a very reasonable price. This is a great place to get a good meal and not feel like you are being overcharged just because of the location. The staff was pleasant and the food came out reasonably quick.
Chocolate Shake, Chili topped burger and chili topped fries. Food was good and very reasonable priced.
11/17/22: Had the double chili cheeseburger with fries. The burger is decent; I prefer the shroom burger at Shake Shack hands down. Fries are a bit too thick cut.
I grew up eating at the Eagle Rock and Burbank Tommy's. Now that I work in Hollywood I'll walk over to the Hollywood location on lunch break. I've been to the Sunland, Palmdale and the original Rampart locations. They have the same flavor and quality. Only downside to the Hollywood one is the homeless that mill about asking for money.
Well, it's hollywood & it's Tommy's. What more can I say?
Decent food for the price
Good for a quick bite! I stop in here so often.
Tried Tommy's Chilli burgers as the concept of burger with chillis intrigued me. To my surprise the burger tasted good. However, I have to warn you that it can get very messy if you don't handle it properly because of the Chilli overload.
The service was relatively quick and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was slightly dirty and could have been better.
overall a good experience and a great concept.
If you asked me, I'd say I'm L.A. through and through. But sad to say, I've never had a Tommy's burger. I had the chili cheeseburger combo. First off, the burger was heavy, so I'm assuming the patties they use are pretty big. The lettuce and tomato were fresh. The chili was...good. The texture was a little off putting. It was almost like a paste, but the flavor was good. Fries were cooked to perfection, crisp outside, fluffy inside and well-seasoned. I'd definitely recommend eating there to at least say you ate at one of L.A.'s mainstays.
i had the double chili burger, wit pikls, tomao, mustard, tomato 9freshness 3 intensity, chili was mild 5 intensity, pickls 8freshness 4 intensity, meat basic (salt)6.5 /10, bread 8/10, musrtd basc 8/10, i,d do it again if iam near hungry and wanted chili burgers. bread will get mushy fast if you wait. the option of butter, grilled onion, and a spicy chili option would be great,
