Soft serve spot that also offers pies. Came here for a post-Crossroads treat and split a regular split flavor scoop with my sister. We had the chocolate as well as the strawberry hibiscus/yuzu swirl. The chocolate flavor tasted like the Wendy’s frostee (which is a compliment) and the yuzu was very refreshing. The strawberry hibiscus tasted a tad artificial but it was also a light flavor. Credit cards only and only one party allowed inside at a time. There’s a small parking lot but it’s for a limited time and really hard to get a spot. There’s metered street parking and free street parking further down the road if you’re okay with walking for a short bit.
I am not a vegan but decided to try this place yesterday. I think Magpies has the best soft serve in LAC, or at least that I've tried.
Their Apple Pie flavor really does taste like it. Also got the Sweet Cream and Dark Chocolate Truffle. Their waffle cone is crispy and perfect. Each bite is so smooth, rich, and refreshing! I was really surprised that none of the items were too sweet, which I enjoyed.
Great ice cream place I've had in LA. It is delicious, rich and creamy. They also have many vegan options. 10/10 would recommend.

Their soft serve is amazing and really reminds me of Milkbar in Vegas.
They have a variety of flavors to choose from and they let you sample. The cashier was so nice to let us sample multiple flavors before ordering because it was our first time.
We ordered the regular soft serve which comes with two flavors. We chose the corn almond and sweet cream. They were just the right amount of sweetness and consistency. Added toppings of honeycomb and waffles to top it off.
They also have a wide selection of pies to choose from. These come frozen. We ordered the fried soft serve pie which is the most popular item on that menu.
Delicious desserts. Wow. Seriously. There a number of options and toppings. You’re sure to find something you love.
Best vegan soft serve I’ve ever had. Dare I say best I’ve ever had period ?!? These flavors are insane! So unique and original and just absolutely delicious. I’m fully vegan and came here to beat the heat. I had the corn almond and brownie batter. What even is corn almond?! I don’t know but it was delectable. Sweet, rich and so creamy. The man working was really kind and let us try samples. First one I tried was the one I went with (corn almond + brownie batter swirl). AMAZING! I got it in a delicious cone and it was so perfect. Creamy and so perfectly sweet. My gf said she was expecting it to be too sweet but she absolutely loved it, she said it was perfect, and she’s not vegan! Will be coming back!!!!!
Best frozen yogurt and possibly frozen dessert in LA. Flavors and the consistency of the yogurt is spot on and they make all their own toppings. Their pies are also incredible!
I didn't know soft serve could have depth of flavor like this! It's so smooth, creamy, and delicious, and every flavor is fully unique and interesting. I've tried the loaded pints, the soft serve pies, and the standard soft serve in a cup and have loved everything. The loaded pints are huge and PACKED with toppings. And I had a piece of pie in the freezer that I was nibbling on over four days and it somehow stayed fresh and soft the entire time. I do enjoy the sft serve fresh from the machine there the best, though. Nothing beats fresh soft serve!
This review is purely for the soft serve! Their soft serve is absolutely killer!!!! My favorite is the Sweet Cream with butterscotch rice crispies. 😋 My family ordered the Sweet Cream and Malted Milk Chocolate swirl and loved it. I wish there was a Magpies near me, but I’m also so glad there isn’t because I’d have probably be there everyday. Can’t wait to come back again!!

Great unique tasting soft serve. I'm lactose intolerant but I had to try this place and it was amazing. Period.
