This is such a cute Italian cafe, it really reminds me of little corner bakeries in Milan. I can easily see how it could be a little underwhelming to the American expectation of Italian food, but I totally love the focaccias: soft and chewy, and they usually have at least one vegan flavor. The pasta of the day I had was incredible too! I wasn't too impressed with the vegan panino.

I ordered Tiramisu tray and three flavor gelato for my friend's birthday. Alex gave me his phone number so I could have easier time to communicate what I wanted through text. Overall, very easy process and professional.

I was born in Italy so I grew up drinking espresso there, but the espresso I got at Panini di Ambra is the best espresso I have ever had in my life! The blend they have is amazing, for sure it is the best coffee in LA, if not in the US! Pizza was super good, very light and with a true taste. It reminds me the pizza I used to eat when I was a kid in Italy. I strongly recommend this place!

What a find! Everything here is done with love, and it shows - from the thoughtfully designed menu, to the art on the walls, to the delicious authentic Italian food that you feel is being made just for you. It is small and doesn't try too hard, they use good, fresh ingredients and you can tell everything is prepared by people who take pride in the art of Italian cooking. The proprietor is a chaming Italian man who clearly knows that art, and is delighted to share it with his customers. I am definitely going to coming in again to sample as many things on their menu as I can. If they're even close to as good as my lunch was today, my mouth waters are the very thought!

My husband and I went on a quest to find the best cappuccino in the area and this place is the clear winner. It's perfect. The food is so good. I've only had their croissants and the caprese panini and I can't wait to come back and try more. The people who run I Panini Di Ambra are very sweet and warm! I love it here!

Absolutely delicious! A mom and pops place. Not big in size but everything looked and tasted awesome. I ordered the ham and fresh mozzarella pannino, a torta de nonna, and a cappuccino. Everything was delicious, and fresh. The cappuccino was among the best I've tried in a while, didn't even need to add sugar. The owner/server is so nice and humble. He made sure I liked my sandwich and was satisfied .

I just moved here and feel so lucky to have a low-key, family owned Italian cafe right nearby. Ambra (I think that’s how you spell it?) is super nice and clearly enjoys providing authentic bites & beverages. I got the prosciutto panini with a cappuccino but I’m sure it’s all great.

Short review: If you want an amazing panini, Focaccia or one of various other authentic italian baked goods, come here IMMEDIATELY! The long review with some details: The food was amazing. My group and I had panini sandwiches and one of us had a smoked salmon salad. We all shared a side of Focaccia bread the was prepared perfectly. The sandwiches were downright FANTASTIC. In my party there were 2 italians and the others are practically italian themselves. The salad was one of the best that my friend has ever had. One of my italian friends felt like she was back at home, having the same Focaccia bread and sandwich that she was used to as a girl. The expresso was done correctly, the correct consistency, temperature and most importantly flavor... I like it black, and this was small (like it is supposed to), potent, and packed a punch. Simply amazing! One of us also had a cream filled croissant that was amazing, to the point that it was even better than many back in Italy! Not exaggerating in the slightest, it was THAT good! The owners husband was there, and he was simply delightful, kind and attentive. The food took a little bit to come out, however we quickly learned why... Each sandwich was carefully assembled and made fresh to order. So naturally when the food came out, it was spectacular. The 5 of us have remained shocked at how amazing this little spot is, and are sure to come back the next time we are in the area. There are not many places that impress you so well, that even though you may live an hour away or so, that you still want to tell everyone about how good it was. And the fact being that all of us are either italian, or very well versed in the culture/food/language and have seen many restaurants in our time, I think says something about how truly genuinely great this little place is. So, naturally we must tell others about it. We will be back... And we shall bring many friends in the future whenever we are in the area. Thank you for a good Italian place that is still affordable!

This is a wonderful family run business. All the pastries are made in-house as well as the pastas. And may I say I've never had anything here that wasn't excellent. Arguably they have the best coffee in town. The only problem is is parking is very tough. There are few meters and there is some parking in the back but you are competing with all the other businesses on the Block. I highly recommend being inconvenienced for the Fantastic food inside.
