A boutique bakery from N.Y. with legendary cronuts now makes an appearance in L.A.! I've never had the restaurant aspect of it and online their concept - it is run like old-fashioned dim sum where servers will walk around with a platter of food that you can accept or decline; if you accept then they
A really nice bakery, reminds me of Butter Avenue in Toronto on Queen and Spadina. They have coffee, pastries and cookies and desserts. All of their pastries on display look so delectable. The employees are friendly and helpful and there’s indoor and outdoor seating. The whole mood of the place fe
I truly enjoyed the sweets that we got here, and January's cronut flavor (Mango Jam & Horchata Ganache) was so delicious. We also got a DKA which was super moist and flavorful. The blueberry-bay macaron was really good, and the cookie shots are SO GOOD, definitely a must. The chai latte wasn't very
Home of the Signature Cronut does not only have to be proud of its Signature Dish (although it is quiet delicious with it's smooth cream filling between the fulfilling dough), but also offers a variety of other interesting dishes that will definitely stimulate your taste buds. If you got triggered b
This is where the Cronut was invented. There is a different flavor every month. The original store was in NYC. I went to the one in London when it first opened and now I’ve been to the LA store. London is my favorite I think. I found the service in LA to be friendly and efficient. I enjoy the cronut
Visited cafe. And had 2 cakes and coffee. Both are super good. Not too sweet. The Mont Blanc with Hazelnut cream looks pretty and there is berry’s mousse inside. I want to visit again and try other cakes!
A wonderful experience at a hip and stylish bistro at The Grove. The interior design is quite exquisite with visual interests at all points; nothing is left unconsideres. The food is served tapas style, hence it is intended to be shared. All of the dishes were beautifully prepared; however they were
New to the Grove, fast, friendly service. Plenty of tasty treats to try, the cronut is really a masterpiece, great when fresh, eat it as soon as you can, the DKA is pretty good too, the Nutella milk bread just OK, it felt kind of chewy and not much Nutella on it. Pastries made with quality ingredien
Straight from New York, this Dominique Ansel does not disappoint. I love the ability to get the cronut on the west coast (without the line wrapping around the block like in New York). I have never had anything bad here but the cronut is my real draw. Jan 2019 has a London Fog Orange flavor which is
Big fan of Dominique Ansel!! I have only been to the SoHo shop in NY and this is the first time I've come to the one in LA. This shop is just as perfect as the other and all the pastries look so amazing. I got my hands on the Kouign Aman (all time favorite) and it did not disappoint. Staff was frien
So many delectable pastries and desserts to choose from! They sell out of the popular ones early (usually cronuts and kouign amann), so the earlier the better. My favorite is the kouign amann- rivaled by b.patisserie’s in sf. They also do whole cake orders with advance reservation, made on the same
Always loved Dominique Ansel Bakery so it's nice to see a sit-down offering from him. Tons of unique items on the dinner menu (like squid corndog & the best fish and chips I've ever had) but a couple of dishes didn't shine (pasta was made in-house but everything on it was bland sadly). Def recommend
Love everything about it. The desserts look and taste amazing. The service is really good, worth it. The only reason I gave them 4 was because of the line I had to stand in. I came for New Years and it took me an hour to be able to order something. The cakes are pre ordered but you have all the othe
I went for the monthly May cronut and was not disappointed! I went on a Friday afternoon around 3PM. The line was a little slow but not bad. The woman at the register was professional, friendly, and boxed up my cronut very nicely. This place is on the pricey side but the quality is worth the price.
I would definitely say that this is a must see if you are at The Grove in LA. Expect a line of course if you go midday on a Saturday like I did. Of course try the cronut... the presentation of it is so nice I almost didn't want to eat it. But of course I did. In general I am not a fan of cronuts but
Beautiful space and delicious food, I’m surprised it’s not ranked higher. I guess it’s a secret in plain sight since the bakery downstairs gets all the attention and people might not even know there is dinner upstairs. While the menu isn’t big, it’s thoughtful and well executed. Not surprisingly, th
I love the dessert here. They are pretty and unique. They look nice and taste great. Here is what i had today. From top to bottom: Mini me is very dark chocolatey, not sweet and pretty filling. Cotton cheesecake is light and fluffy and almost melt in the mouth. Paris LA is beautiful to look at bu
