If it is networking you want and a place your can feel a part of the pulse of Los Angeles than this is the place for You, I love the fine dining and camaraderie I am able to partake in the fun and informative events. I can't give specifics, but for me the people that I have met and interacted with have all been very helpful. I have even found a mentor for my book publishing and public speaking that is priceless and for that I am grateful. Go City Club LA, we love you! P.S. I am even inspired to learn how to play golf, So I guess I can say City Club LA is good for my health. My guest always enjoy the spectacular view and great food. It nice to have a great place to meet and greet people you care about.

I found the staff to be friendly, welcoming, and service-oriented. The views of LA from this 51st Floor are spectacular. I have attended a social event, a corporate meeting, and most recently a tour of the facilities. Based on those experiences I find City Club LA to be a superb networking and entertaining environment; great venue for business meetings, and for entertaining, etc. The food was great.

City Club LA is a rooftop private club in downtown Los Angeles that sports a stunning view of the city. Every now and again, they shall do a small tasting fir those interested in seeing the club and how the environment is. They offer a superb wine selection, plus the food menu is crafted by executive chef Victor Martinez. You can use the space to host events for board meetings or company get-togethers. The area is upscale and classy. With that being said, if you are interested in a membership, it's best to schedule a meeting with one of the event coordinators. There is an initiation fee, plus a monthly fee as well. This is truly a place to go if you are in the executive line of work, but there are times they'll allow those who are not members to dine and peruse the grounds. It's definitely worth trying at least once, just to get a feeling of the scene.

Top notch every single time! Ana is one of the best hostesses that one will ever encounter. She has a warm spirit and great smile. Super professional and made me feel at home. Alexandria was a great server. Knowledgeable and attentive. The place is awesome and the views are too!!!

I’ve been here couple of times. Today our firm got a chance to have a birthday luncheon for our CFO. Beautiful location with a fabulous view that’s why I chose this. The whole team were friendly, accommodating and helpful. My bosses and the rest of our firm were so impressed and delighted how they are very welcoming. Attire is business casual so dress up properly. I will come back here of course but not everyday right. It’s a good place to meet up too for business or for personal ordinary time. Food and service are great.

The last time I was here was about 10 years ago & I went last night because of two I know that are members. Probably the best high floor bar in downtown LA, amazing views looking down on other buildings. The amenities if you’re a member look great, very professional/network oriented crowd with excellent customer service. It’s members only but I’d definitely come back and consider a membership if I wasn’t that far. The DJ last night was amazing too, brought out the old school mixes.

City Club LA in downtown Los Angeles is a fantastic venue for a romantic dinner, as I recently experienced on Valentine's Day with my wife. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the impeccable service we received. We were welcomed with a champagne toast and a rose for my wife at the entrance, which was a lovely touch. Our table had a spectacular view of downtown LA, which made for a truly unforgettable dining experience. The set menu for the evening included a seafood platter appetizer, which was outstanding. It was beautifully presented and tasted fresh and delicious. For our main courses, we chose the Chilean sea bass with risotto and the filet mignon. While the sea bass was melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of flavor, unfortunately the filet mignon was a bit overcooked and tough, which was a bit disappointing. For dessert, we were treated to a cheese cake and chocolate mousse that were both delicious and nicely decorated. We finished the evening in the club lounge, which had a great vibe and added to the overall ambiance of the evening. For people that are looking for a romantic night out, City Club LA is definitely one of the places to be considered. Our experience at City Club LA was outstanding. The impeccable service and stunning views made it a truly special evening. While the filet mignon was a bit disappointing, the rest of the meal was fantastic, and we would definitely be back for more dinning here.

So I was here for a work Christmas party. The majority of it was amazing. The appetizers and service was exceptional. The ambiance and skyline were breathtaking. The prepared menu was really great. The only issue with it was that when it came to serving the filet mignon medallions, they varied in rarity. Which would have made sense had they asked how we would have liked them. So some issues with quality control there. The bartenders were great. Definitely a great venue to hold events.

Great service and great food. The view of Los Angeles is great as they are located at the City National Plaza penthouse. It does get crowded on Friday nights. If you don't like loud atmospheres, plan a night in the main dining room, just stick with the dress code of dressing up. They have a happy hour food and beverage menu from 5-7 pm every weekday. Oh...they really need to take off the "Not Your Grandma's S'mores" (as seen in the photos) off the menu. It taste like pudding in a kid's lunchbox and not worth the price period. Everything else is worth trying. There breakfast buffet, while good, lacks a lot of options (bacon, hashbrowns, etc stuff I have seen at other clubs), so that's up to you. There is a member saying that "if you don't ask, you don't get." That's how hospitable the club cares about it's members.

1 star for the Dining in the Dark experience here. 5 stars for City Club LA itself (I didn’t want to rate one star just because we had a bad experience at the Dining in the Dark hosted here at City Club) I really wanted to love this experience... but honestly would not recommend to anyone. It was three courses of just okay food. I went with my fiancé for his birthday and he got the meat menu and I got the seafood choice (that we had to preselect the week before). Ultimately that barely mattered because the first course (raw fish) and third course (a crushed ice syrupy dessert) were the exact same for both menus. While blindfolded, we tried describing our plates to each other and then we realized we had the same thing for 2/3 or the plates even though we each selected a different type of menu. The appetizer was not bad, the main plate was okay, and the dessert was an icy plate of artificial strawberry syrup, with all the portion sizes being very small. I think the chef tried to say they made the dessert for everyone in the room (vegans, dairy-free, etc) but I didn’t really understand the reasoning why they gave that to everyone. The flavored melting ice chunks weren’t that exciting and we definitely weren’t expecting that to be how they ended the meal. Another part we had an issue with was no one told us when food was put in front of us when they brought it out… how are we supposed to know when quiet waiters don’t tell us the plate is in front of us. Just felt very unorganized and not prepared to cater to those experiencing this. Also the waiter we had was not nice. He asked if we wanted a pre-dinner drink and we said sure we’ll have one beer to share, as in I’ll have some sips of my partner’s drink while we wait for the wine pairing, and he said “it’s illegal to share cocktails” but not in a joking way and we were so confused and I had to clarify with him I meant to bring one beer and I’ll have a few sips. But the beer actually never arrived until an hour later when we were blindfolded and had to turn it away since we had already ordered the wine pairing with the meal and didn’t want to have beer with the “carefully curated” pairing. For $100 base price per person + $50/pp wine pairing + tax + automatic 20% gratuity (that they later said doesn’t go towards the staff tip and ask if you want extra gratuity added onto the bill) it was a bit ridiculous. And if you plan to eat around 8:30pm with the 8:30pm seating time, mentally prepare for it to be closer to 9:30pm by the time everything gets served. I know sometimes things run late, so that part was okay and the MC was really personable and lovely with updating everyone with the delays (shoutout to her being the best part of dinner), but in hindsight with everything else compounded, the late start time was a bit frustrating. So for two people with a wine pairing being almost $400, we highly recommend you going somewhere else nice nearby that will justify the price tag.

I was the DJ at the venue this past weekend. The view is amazing. It’s what really make the place stand out above the rest. (No pun intended) It was difficult getting into the loading dock. Entrance is on 5th street, but with all the one way streets downtown, you can be driving a bit if you happen to miss an entrance. For guests, the main entrance is on flower I believe. Loading equipment was a lot of work because of the distance between the loading dock and the elevator, but that’s for the vendors to deal with. Parking for vendors was free...just give yourself extra time to get in because somebody had to let you into the loading dock and the trip upstairs and back down to the car each time takes a while. I tried to put everything by the elevator and minimize the actual trips up and down. The room itself is very nice. There are about 20 pillars, so 20-25 Uplights work great for that room. Almost each pillar had its own outlet, so that makes things much easier. The staff was very friendly. The food was really good as well.
