Ami Japanese Restaurant - Los Angeles - Photo album

Went with a party of 16 and they were very accommodating . Service was fast. Price was on the higher side. However, the sushi was bigger than expected and very filling. The fish tasted fresh and the rice was perfect.
Great happy hour and good sushi. Service was great and the outdoor seating had great people watching. Bento box had good value and lots of food.
Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Loved the upstairs and the majestic staircase. Felt like you were in a different country. Food was very affordable and they had quality sushi that left my belly full.
Came here on a weekday for lunch Ordered the bento box combo, with pork cutlet and chicken teriyaki The tastes was alright but the bento box was very worth for its price during lunch timing and the service was friendly. Would recommend for lunch!
AMI is a sushi restaurant located in Westwood village. The sushi is bright and tasty. The service is good. The flavors are there. The only critique I have, if one can even call it that, is there's nothing that sets this establishment apart from any other sushi restaurant. This is not a bad thing. It
Sushi bar and restaurant located near UCLA campus in the West LA. Walking distance from the hospital if trying to avoid getting your car out. They have mainly Japanese and some Korean menu to choose from. Could use a better beer collection but they do good collection of Sake and Soju. Service was
It is more an American take on sushi than Japanese. Most dishes are reasonably priced, they taste good enough, and the service is good for the most part. Try the akedashi tofu, sashito peppers for appetizers (skip the crab with mozzarella cheese, the spicy green beans, and tempura which are oily an
This was our second time here and it never disappoints! The sushi is always fresh and the shishito peppers and spicy edamame are a must get!
Great little place. We bought our daughter Chipotle just so we could enjoy some sushi. We asked the host if we could bring her Chipotle in, but he wasn't sure. He said he would get an answer, but then we both agreed we should just sit outside. Nice picnic tables outside. There were happy hour s
The best sushi I’ve had in LA. You have to try tornado, it’s sooo good, it has little crunches of potato on it which makes it even better. Always ask for their spicy mayo sauce. The only reason that I didn’t rate it as 5 is because their waiters are mad at you and not patient enough but maybe it was
Everything about this place is “basic” nothing too amazing. Although I don’t like saying it but their service kind of isn’t the best. Food took long to come out when in reality there was no one there. It was just 2 tables of people (small 3 people parties) myself included in the 2 tables. Overall I
Nice food and nice environment. The server is very polite and friendly too. We talked the Korean guy, he was very cute and friendly to talk to us.
Great happy hour! Loved the spicy garlic edamame and the hand rolls.
Came here for appetizers & sake. I’m surprised how cheap everything is. Good appetizers. Definitely budget-friendly and good for students.
I truly love this restaurant. They have a fantastic happy hour Mon & Tues all day and Wed-Sun 3-6pm & 9pm-close. Their crispy rice and baked salmon roll are by far my favorite items that I have tried. They have great bento box options and delicious ice cream macroons as well. The service is usually
The sushi was really good and they were open late during the night. I liked the decorations as well. I didn't receive utensils and our server took our soy sauce away before we had finished eating.
