I returned from Las Vegas and dined again at Adagio… i had the best Linguine & Clams with white wine sauce I’ve ever had ! ❤️

Found this Italian spot that's more hidden than a secret pizza recipe. Inside, it's all buzzing, mostly with folks who seem to know the owner like they're old pals. Food is top-notch - from the steaming minestrone to the personalized fettuccine, all cooked to perfection. Plus, you won't have to break the bank to enjoy a meal here. One visit and you're hooked - it's that kind of place. Can't wait to head back!

On a whim, we decided to try this restaurant for dinner. It's a little hole in the wall, yet when you enter it's a fairly large size room which was packed with diners at 8 pm. The clientele was, shall I say, a more mature crowd. I'm sure most were regulars because as they left they all greeted the owner....
We had minestrone soup (hot and served directly out of the cooking pot into my bowl!), sand dabs, Caeser salad, fettuccine with chicken.... The choices were varied, and everything was perfectly cooked. The menu is extensive, and the chef will make it the way you want it.
We declined dessert, instead enjoyed a cocktail and wine and the bill (with tax, before tip) was around $90. A good deal!
Definitely be going back!

This is a true hidden gem!! Amazing authentic food, very cosy intimate atmosphere and great service and prices. Best Italian in the valley for sure!

Food is always good and the service is spot-on, but for some reason the dining room looks like it could be in an assisted living facility. I would guess that the average age of diners here is 70+ and that is probably an underestimate. Not that there is anything wrong with that - just my observation. I have never had a bad meal or experience and I will keep coming back. And, hey, this place always makes me feel youthful (but I do think they should have a wall-mounted AED (automated external defibrillator) for the safety of their customers).

Best kept secrets in the West Valley. Old school traditional and authentic Italian food.
Please support your local restaurant industry during difficult times!

Stopped in not knowing what to expect. Greeted by the owner and seated immediately even though no reservations. Food was outstanding but watching all the other guests enter and hug the owner made the experience even better. You can tell once you go - you’ll be back. Service outstanding food amazing and prices unbelievable for what you get. For sure a repeat.

Our first visit to the Valley favorite and it exceeded expectations. The owner Claudio is charming and welcoming. The service, ambience and generous portions are terrific. I had the white fish special that was delicious and my partner had the branzino which she very much enjoyed. They also have a great wine list and we enjoyed the chocolate layer cake for desert. It was a perfect meal.

We are foodies who love discovering in our hometown in Montreal, Canada and also when travelling. We were in LA for 2 weeks.
This was probably one of the best hidden gems on our trip.
Dont get me wrong; this is nothing fancy. The decorations are from wayyy back in the 80s or 90s, but weirdly comforting and well kept.
The service was excellent. I believe it was the owner who greeted us and made our drinks. All food was simple and fresh.
From the basic tomato sauce, to the pasta, to the perfectly cooked salmon, everything was delicious.
We regret not having come back before we left.
Everything was well priced.
We really appreciated this restaurant. When we’ll be back in LA, we will be coming here again.🙂

Great Italian. The red sauce on the pasta primavera is one of my favorites

One of the finest Italian restaurants I’ve been to in L.A. ! OMG the food is amazing ! Nice ambience with great service . A must try !!

Quaint little Italian restaurant. The owner greets everyine that comes through the door. Limited bar but decent drinks.
The pre meal arancini balls, even though they dont seemed to be filled with cheese, and the sliced bread with mushroom sauce are delicious.
The pasta with chipped clams was very good. The white wine sauce was perfect and having bread to wipe the plate clean is a must. The chicken of the chicken parmesan was crisp and juicy. The only down side were the side vegetables were hard and bland. They should somehow yes the white wine sauce from the pasta dish in the vegetables.
Overall a nice restaurant with good food that won't break the bank.

Adagio's is a Hidden Gem. Claudio the owner is something else. It's also very affordable for the quality of food. And this is Northern Italian food which is hard to get in the valley

Pretty good food! Everything we ordered was pretty good.
They give you complimentary bread and a risotto ball which was really nice.
I got the Cesar salad which was a great portion! For my main I got the chicken parm, which was nice but it didnt come with any pasta with it which I found kind of odd. It just came with some vegetables. None the less, the food I did get was good.
Dessert is great too! I got the pecan pie and cheesecake.
They also have BYOB for wine which was great, I love that they do that.
I enjoyed the meal, I only took a star off because the service could be improved. Our server kept stuttering when he was telling us about the specials. Also, there were so many daily specials to the point there should've been a print out. We could not remember half of them. Also I had to keep asking for a refill of my drink which I didn't like.

I’m happy we tried this place tonight. I assume it was the owner that greater us a the door to welcome us in.
The restaurant is nostalgic in a way my partner and I enjoyed. Despite it being a Friday night, the service was incredibly attentive. I feel like I’m getting used to poor Covid-era service due to short staffing at restaurants, but not here.
We ordered a few things, all of which were good.
Most of the people there looked like they were regulars and I can understand way.
Thank you for a great night.

Great service, delicious food and fair prices. Everyone is working in a team and you can see they are happy. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Claudio, very charming and friendly. We loved our experience and plan to come back.

Authentic and Reasonably Priced. Upon entering the restaurant you'll be greeted by the owner with a smile as if you've known one another for years. There are four servers, but they do not each wait on a group of tables, instead each has a role. One takes your order and is your main point of contact, one brings the food out, one cleans your plates and glasses from the table and another makes sure water and breads are always plentiful. It works and makes you feel like royalty.

The menu is sensational. Cold and hot antipasti, Caesar salads made at your table, perfectly cooked fettuccine and the best cappuccino this side of Firenze' made my experience complete.

When the bill came, it was surprisingly low compared to the experience I'd just had and to comparative restaurants.

My only rub is the wine by the glass selection is not robust nor of much quality. An authentic Italian restaurant should have at least a good chianti reservo and maybe even a barolo or brunello and Adagio only has their cheapest bottles open for pours. Speaking of the wine though, lowest bottle prices I've seen in a restaurant in my life. Maybe 1.2 X retail. How very refreshing!

Oh, and when you leave, the owner will shale your hand and you'll be hooked. See you again!

Disappointing Experience at Adagio. We went to Adagio for a birthday celebration based on recommendations on yelp. We had a VERY disappointing experience! The experience seemed promising at the beginning when we were served free appetizers of fried potatoes and mushroom canape. It was all downhill from there. One member of our party ordered chicken picatta which came bone dry. We called over the owner who disagreed with us. He offered to bring a replacement (he wouldn't bring another chicken dish out even though that was what was requested) however his attitude was condesending. Several of us ordered a seafood pasta dish which was to include lobster, scallops and shrimp. The lobster was microscopic and the scallops were the smallest we've ever seen. Service was poor requiring us to call over wait and bus staff to refill waters.
The restaurant was packed for a Saturday night. The only reason I can imagine people would come here is because the prices are low. For my dollar, I would prefer to go to a restaurant where the food and service are more of a priority than price.

There is nothing better for excellent reliable Italian than Adagio in the West Valley. Claudio the owner is always present. The fish is outstanding !

Atmosphere is very romantic. Perfect date. Looks more expensive than it really is. Very reasonable prices. I had the raviolli spinish it was awsome the best I've had. Better than Mine homemade.
