I'll be coming here again for sure! Stopped by on a Saturday night and was very impressed by their Crabiqueso and salsa dips. The Al Pastor Cauliflower was clever and very much tasted like it reads, - with a nice balance of smoke, spice and sweetness. Their guacamole topped off with bacon was delicious too. Great food and great service 👍👍👍.
I was here with a group of 15 and the service was excellent given we were there at the 630p dinner rush hour. I went with the carnitas for the win based on the other reviewers recommendations - definitely a signature dish and highly recommend! For appetizers we had chips and salsa, crabiqueso, and grilled corn as a side. These were also very tasty.
Parking isn’t the easiest given the location especially at 630p, but luckily there was a valet. The drinks are well made and prices are average for LA ~$14. I will definitely be going back with the family.
My biggest takeaway from Maradentro is the quality of the service. Even when they were busy and had a number of upcoming reservations they managed to seat me as a walk in on a busy Friday and even gave me a desert on the house (a delicious bread pudding with churro ice cream). It's a small space but it is cozy and well laid out. It didn't feel cramped at all. The way they have set up the outdoor seating they have managed to give a sense if airiness even though they are located on a busy street. They also have an excellent happy hour so make sure to duck your head in if you work in the area!
Absolutely delicious. Balanced, fresh flavors and phenomenal staff. Check this spot out! Their brunch and food is consistently on point!!!!
The guac was amazing! Would recommend them for a happy hour that runs from 5-7 PM, menu is extensive and customer service exceptional!
Just stopped on a fluke because we were in the area. This place was a happy surprise. The staff was fantastic the place it's self was nice. Must importantly, the food was great! The shrimp toast was my fave and the bread pudding was over the top.
My colleagues and I came here for dinner after work last night, and everything was absolutely superb. The atmosphere is great, the waiter we had was super knowledgable about everything on the menu and helped recommend which dishes we should order, and then the food was AMAZING! Honestly probably the top 10 meals I've ever had. We ordered the shrimp garlic bread appetizer & guac, and all shared three entrees: the special for the night (prime rib), fish tacos, and the chicken with garlic sauce. Will definitely be coming here again!! Special shoutout to our awesome waiter, thank you Charles!!!
I have had two of my favorite lunches at Maradentro! DELICIOUS. The Guacamole and my fish tacos were superior. I also had a wonderful shrimp salad. Today, the manager overheard my son and I talking about how great the food was. He brought us the MOST AMAZING flan on the house! I can't wait to try them for happy hour with friends.
Street parking is surprisingly easy in this area and there is also a garage. The service here is good, and the food is excellent. Very good happy hour menu selections. The carnitas here are very well done, as are the oysters. Perfect for after-work cocktails.
Nice interior, very nice staff. Food and drinks were super delicious! We had an issue with our OpenTable gift card not being accepted (must have been some sort of technical error on OpenTable's end), the manager was very forthcoming and helped us resolve the issue with a comp discount. Definitely recommended!
