Came here on Sunday night. The patio was busy. The servers were very nice and friendly. We had the chicken shish tawook, the vegetarian plate and some falafels. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted very good. The falafels were nice and hot, crispy on the outside. The chicken was nicely seasoned and grilled. The portions were huge. Plenty of leftovers. We had some baklava and it was outstanding. Not too sweet and pleasant for an after dinner treat.

I got one of the sandwiches and it was delicious and amazing. The young lady who took my order was very sweet and kind. I came when I first got to California and wanted to try something new. Came back a few years later I had the best sandwich that made a good day a great day for me! Incredible food, you MUST try! You’re seriously doing yourself a disservice if your in the area and crave Lebanese food. MUST TRY FOR THE AMAZING MEDITERRANEAN FOOD!

I've been here a few times in the recent past (starting 4-5 years ago), but something has changed, and now I can honestly say that I was totally blown away by absolutely everything at Hayat's this time. The food was better than I have ever before tasted, fresher, tastier, more visually appealing, more memorable, the hummus lighter than ever, awesome desserts. The service was so friendly that I really wanted to stay all night. This place has always been back there in the corner, out of view and easy to overlook. My brother and I exclaimed to each other that we need to get back here way more often. That will mean a lot coming from me, since I live out of state. I highly recommend this place, even if you are vegetarian.

They have a great lunch spread. They have vegan food, pescatarian, and omnivore selection even if you haven't had Mediterranean dishes yet. The pita bread could have been served without the plastic bag from the store. The baklava dessert selection is very good too but not for honey allergic persons. definitely authentic Armanian food. Will have to try other dishes there

Wonderful low key spot with nice staff, great food and relaxed outdoor seating. Came here with a group and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We started off slowly with a bunch of appetizers and bbq to follow along with desserts and coffee after. Everyone in our group left happy and satisfied.

Went with a Lebanese friend. Heard great things before going. The food overall was solid but not the best Lebanese food by any stretch. Their garlic sauces were amazing but the lamb was over cooked to my liking despite them asking about the level of wellness beforehand. Solid service and they were fast with their responses. Of note, outside seating attract A LOT OF FLIES so request for candles of smoke to fend for flies. Overall, would recommend but might want to go with someone who knows the cuisine well

Love 😍 this restaurant. The staff here is fantastic. Their food - delicious. I haven't visited this place in many years and it is obvious that nothing has changed. The food is still the same. Home cooked goodness in every bite, not to mention the dessert display case.... heavenly. You honestly feel like you are dining at home. They bring customary pickled cucumbers and turnips to the table. Couldn't be better than that. Their hummus and garlic sauce is 😋 delicious, too. You have to try their Spinach Pies - my new found favorite! You know I couldn't leave without buying baklava! Honestly was craving it! My favorite was the pistachio baklava! I'll definitely be back!

What a gem. Has a very family run operation vibe which gives you the sense they really care. Shared feast for two with our two toddlers and had lots of food. Appetizer sampler was delicious, great hummus (from someone that often doesn’t like it). Lots of meat on the entree, steak wasn’t really medium rare but lamb kabob was insane. Yogurt/cheese dip was amazing. Sadly we took baklava to go and it fell on walk to car so we’ll have to go back again. Loved fresh mint tea. Really sweet waitress. Overall a very positive and yummy experience. Probably half of the seating is outside so plan ahead with coats etc in case it’s busy. Can’t wait to return. Good for kids and groups.

This restaurant was excellent. The good is delicious, atmosphere was great - we went on a Sat night so got to enjoy live music. The outside sitting was another bonus. And our server was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back. I'm so glad I found this gem in a random Google search.

A must-visit when it comes to Lebanese food in LA. The kibbeh is outstanding. If you’re not sure what to order, ask for their recommendations, they’ll steer you right. Family-friendly outdoor seating; not uncommon to see large groups of folks with hookahs lit chilling for long stays at this Valley staple. Outstanding food.

Amazing food by chef Omaya! I only go when she's there. Very generous portions. This is the most authentic Lebanese restaurant in the valley. Also, the prices are very reasonable.

Best place for Garlic Fries (Potato Harra). They have a nice selection of Lebanese Food like kafta, shawerma and sheesh tawook along with cold and hot appetizers ( maza). Clean and simple sitting area with a cozy outdoor covered patio too, perfect for large gatherings. Must try.

I nearly always get the same thing - the vegetarian plate. I love that plate as well as the tastes off of friends plates. The restaurant has always given a piece of baklava with the check and it is wonderful. Plus they sell baklava with various nuts. A great place to take a date and try something new. The only thing I would improve, even a little, is the decor. For a restaurant with such good food it would be an improve experience if it was a little more relaxed with lower lighting and more attention to the lay out. An A+ restaurant just as it is.
