If you live in the area, or even if you don't, you've got to check out this gem that is part wine bar and part restaurant. The food is fantastic and the wine selection is sublime. Love the staff and Chef Joseph puts a personal touch on everything.

Been coming to Froma since it opened. Mt Tam and Jam was my jam. But everything is amazing.

Cheese is the primary focus for this lively, reasonably priced local restaurant, so best avoided if you are on a diet! We had pasta, short ribs, some sides and cheese and it was all really good. Service was quick and friendly. The beer and wine selection is good with several wines available by the glass.

Cute little French cafe/wine bar, a cosy respite from the cold! My basil & tomato omelette was delicious, but the coffee was unfortunately quite average... watery and bitter.

Froma is just the loveliest of cheese shops imaginable on a stretch of Melrose that craves for consumers, not grubbers. One would never associate "monger" (nor should one, since she's a sommelier by trade) with Francine Diamond, but with her at the helm,

Delicious Italian Panini with gluten free bread options. Fresh salad with great ingredients. Visited around 3pm and I was a only customer there. The staff is very friendly and explain about their menu very well. Great wine selection as well.

What a wonderful small business that deserves your patronage! It has a very homey feeling and great spot to stop for lunch. I got the turkey pesto panini and I thought it was very well made and tasted great. Don't pass up the opportunity to try this place out!

We were here for an international event with a group of about 20 people. This place has great wine. The owner also knows some artists who occasionally display their creations for others to purchase and enjoy. Go to the Froma Cafe next time you want some art and some wine. You will be very pleased.

This place is amazing. Great food, wine and vibe👌I do however have to say that the best thing about this place is chef Michael. Most positive, uplifting, talented and helpful person I’ve ever met. He does everything with love and a smile. 5 stars!!

Fabulous salads, great sandwiches, and an interesting selection of wines. I've been coming to Froma for a long time. The new owners have improved Froma with an even greater selection of cheeses, charcuterie, and wine and fabulous customer service. A great place to pick up your Hollywood Bowl dinner and wine! (but call ahead, so you can waltz in and out)

You cannot go wrong with any choice off the menu. I keep going back to the scrambled eggs--compliments to the chef, she knows what she is doing, I watched her make them once and she was deep, deep into the process with complete concentration. Last visit I also got a side of penne pesto, which was just right, perfectly al dente and fresh. And we got a cookie--hello! So amazing. Chocolate chip, obviously directly from the oven evenly crunchy and soft. And I tried the strawberry hibiscus tea: heavenly. I love this place.

Awesome place for lunch! Cute little shop with cured meats, cheeses, wines, imported sweets. Their house made paninis, pastas, and pizzas are tasty. They also have a soup of the day. Plenty of street parking during the lunch, but they also have a lot in the back. I liked the pollo, and pesto panini, but the pollo had to be my favorite. It was very unique, juicy chicken, mushrooms, creamy cheese, and arugula on toasted bread. The downside would be it is a bit pricey, 12 dollars for a sandwich is a little steep, but it's a great sandwich.

Great start to meeting one that is new to my life. It wasn't jam packed, but sure was delicious and thanks to Patty there, I had the breakfast that was much like a Parisian morning meal with a special coffee very suiting and tasty. Thanks from me, to Froma.

This spot is a gem! It's great to stop in for a glass of wine or a beer, and the owner really knows her wine. They also sell bottles of wine to take away. The sandwiches are expertly prepared (the ahi tuna burger is a personal favorite). The last time I was there, I ordered their Diavola pizza which came out of the oven with a perfectly blistered and slightly charred crust, and I needed very little help polishing the whole thing off. In case you are looking for a breakfast or brunch spot, the omelets are also delicious, as are their espressos.

I had the chicken dish for dinner, and it was literally the most delicious chicken/potatoes I've ever had in my life. Literally. I wish someone would cook that meal for me three times a day, every day, for the rest of my life. It was $16 but I didn't even care, because it was just that delicious. Seriously, go eat here. Your insides will be so happy.

Froma got a new owner (use to be a cute little French lady), and I wasn't sure at first, but the paninis are always delicious, and I convince myself that they were better than the last time I had them every time I go.
