Far Bar - Los Angeles - Photo album

Awesome wasabi fries. Location is pretty cool too, right in front of Miyako Hotel. Staff is knowledgeable with their bourbon. I've had Pappy 23, Heaven Hill 20, Parker's Heritage 24 years, Stagg Jr Batch 17, Old Fitz 11, and GTS 142 proof. Good shot prices, real pour size as well.
I'm amazed that such great place is so affordable!! I was expecting it to be more expensive but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu 😱. Our server was awesome and checked on us a good amount of times, which made it easy to continue ordering new things 😬. The serving size was way bigger than
Our server was attentive. The outside space was well lit and perfect. The yellow tail sashimi was amazing, we ordered two servings and the specialty beer from Japan is extensive. Ended up trying 3 we never had before. This whole area is great and you can spend day or night here with family. Check th
Great vibes and the food was excellent! Their wasabi fries are bomb and their wings were both delicious and HUGE! Our server was awesome too! Cherry on top was Star Wars: Episode I playing in the background. 10/10 would recommend
Great original drinks and cool friendly staff. Definitely recommend Isaiah.
Far Bar exceeded my sushi expectations. My brother and I sat outside in a relaxing environment made to follow COVID-19 regulations. The vegetarian roll was fresh and packed to the limit. The shrimp tempura roll was crunchy and the flavor of shrimp was strong. But the nachos were my favorite, they ha
Google maps takes you to the back of this building. Entrance is on East 1st street. Super beautiful interior, lots of polished wood and black and white tiles. Feels eloquent. During the day, bright light hits the bar and lights up the space. Outside, a patio section opens at 2PM. There’s a super na
1st time here and had a great time! Drinks were good and the burger my sister got was delicious! Service was great! Friendly! So many things I want to try! Would definitely go again!
Had some great drinks during their tap takeover in the super cozy back bar. I had no idea it was there but I'm glad I found it. Brick backdrops and string lights on wooden tables in the outside area, wood bar on the inside. Awesome fish tacos with flights of beer. I'm only sad that I noticed the Poz
Showed up at noon. Staff said they opened at 1pm. Looked up on the website it said 1.30. We went back around 12.45ish. Than there was a sign outside that said that they opened at 12 😯 Ceaser salad definitely was NOT the true ceaser salad. Disappointed that they were NOT serving sushi. But the mush
It was my first time going and I definitely underestimated how long the wait for patio seating would be. It was well worth it though in my opinion! My friend and I had a great time! The sangria was SO good and the mezcal flight was great as well! But honestly, all the cocktails I had here were great
Solid spot for drinks and food. My group ordered several of the starters and everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. Staff were attentive and kept the libations and vittels coming.
Cool spot super fun and friendly staff. All I can say is chicken wings and butter shrimp taco halalujah! So yum.. great drinks too! Hidden cool hang!
Came for happy hour. Great drinks and food to munch on. Would come back here again. The outdoor searing area feels like a hole in the wall but is also cozy! Wasabi fries were interesting - not the biggest fan of wasabi but still enjoyed it.
Far Bar is really two bars. Literally. There’s the bar you see when you walk in, and then there’s the back bar and outdoor restaurant past the bathrooms. It’s like a hidden restaurant in a bar, but with really chill staff shared between them. Good times! Come!
Great place. Made on the site of the old Far East Cafe in Little Tokyo that was damaged severely and the Northridge Earthquake. This room, has a lot of history they made a lot of the old Humphrey Bogart style Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe Film Noir movies. It's in Little Tokyo so they have Sapporo on ta
Very smelly in main bar area. Smelled like sewer, hopefully they figure out how to fix the smell. We ended up having drinks in the back bar area to avoid the stink. Drinks made right and had a relaxing time hanging with friends
