One of my favorite Mexican-American bar/restaurant in Hollywood. The service is just fabulous. The waiters are very courteous! My favorite alcoholic beverage is the cute pineapple drink 🍹🍍oh and their mole is delicious. Whenever you're in the H area please visit this place. It's great!
Beautifully cozy!!! if you don't like velvet, don't come here lol. The place is covered in velvet and it's very nice and comfy. I loved it, the food was delicious. I wanna go back and see the Halloween decor. Server Betty, thank you!
Stylized like a goth Spanish bar and restaurant, LA Velvet Margarita Cantina offers up some great food options and Happy Hour drinks. The $5 ?? Classic Margarita was quite good!

Everything about this place was pretty great! Both the food & the service were good. We walked right in, ordered at the bar & grabbed some seats. No wait, no hassle. Had a concotion called the Oaxacan Conexion that was amazing! The Chile Relleno dinner was fantastic. Bartenders were friendly and on point service wise.
This place is so cool! Awesomely themed on the inside, almost feels like a theatre production. Completely entranced with the theme they give off. Drinks were great and unique. Came here for my going away night with a few girlfriends. Great food, fun environment, beautiful decor, the booth chairs are the most comfortable velvet plush booths. Great tasting and unique margaritas. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
Apparently they run out of pineapple for their Margaritas pretty fast, so don't expect it and instead settle for a glass. Service from the staff was amazing, I really liked that. Expected more as far the food presentation but it tasted really good.
The atmosphere of this place is my favorite in Hollywood!! Dark setting, candle light, Sombrero covered ceilings, old movies playing on frames. The food is just okay (calamari EXCELLENT though). It's extremely pricey for the flavor but will return for the ambiance
This is my fav place to go for the atmosphere, five- star food, excellent service and for celebrating birthdays with their homeade "churros a la whipped cream" . Upon entering, "Day of the Dead" skulls peer out of a life-sized shadow box. It's very dark in the restraunt, so be prepared. Gothic chand
Unique atmosphere/vibe. Food is far from typical Mexican cuisine. Large variety of Margaritas. I enjoyed my ginger margarita. Salmon is excellent. Bean dip is the bomb...oh and the empanadas were light and tasty!!👍😊
