Plateia - Los Angeles - Photo album

Pretty solid restaurant located in the UCLA conference center/hotel. I ate here several times during my stay at the UCLA hotel. Most of my meals were really good but some were just okay (my steak was very over cooked). The service was hit or miss especially if you got table but all the bartenders we
The food and the atmosphere is surprisingly good! We will definitely come back again ! I found a lot people complaining about their service, but I think it’s great! The waiter and waitress are are very friendly and helpful!
Situated in the heart of UCLA in their conference center is Plateia. I was genuinely surprised with this place as the food was delicious (and reasonably priced), service was quick and the hotel/restaurant itself was very nice. We ordered the avocado chicken sandwich and the margherita pizza which I
The wife had something to do up near UCLA so she invited me to lunch at Plateia in the Luskin Conference Center. We had tried to get in for lunch previously but there was always something going on or the restaurant was closed for one reason or another. This time, however, seeing as how it was summer
Very tasty food with good portions and presented nicely. Salads are very good. Price seems very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Restaurant is a tip free environment which is nice too.
Very pleasant environment. Staff are friendly. Delicious pizza, well-made cocktails. I ordered Verdura Pizza and the Barcelona drink and I loved both of them. This is a gratuity free restaurant.
Delicious Ibérian Jamón Chorizo pizza and a great selection of local craft beers. Solid all around.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere. It's pretty fancy and next to a conference center. The food was good and the service was nice too. I recommend the berry dessert. The tip is already included so it helps with the price.
Dined twice here, once Lunch, once Breakfast, good experiences with both. Plateia encapsulates that Californian Mediterranian food experience. Extremely fresh food and ingredients, sophisticated and leave you feeling a little brainy. Sure, the prices are a tad upscale, however, they are in line wit
The ambiance is very nice and the food is fine, unfortunately I can not say this for the service. I really do not understand why it is not to possible to unite the tables or serve an empty table outside when the weather is so nice. There are other tables being served outside but is it so hard to swi
Nice ambiance, especially the patio seating by the olive trees. It's lovely in the morning and in the evening. The past 2 times I've had dinner here, I thought the hamburger was too salty. It covered up the flavor of the grass-fed beef. Could it be less salty perhaps? Thank you for choosing grass-fe
I would say this is the BEST dining place during pandemic. They really have thought through about how to keep customers and their staff safe. For example, one person is deligated to serve only and the other picks up used items so things don't cross contaminate. Their protocols to serve food and wate
While visiting colleges in SoCal with my daughter, we made the Luskin our home base for a week. We ate at the Plateia for breakfast and dinner everyday while we were there. Originally, this wasn't our plan as we hoped to explore the various restaurants around Westwood. But the food was so outstandin
Lovely restaurant with beautiful outdoor seating among olive trees deep in the UCLA campus adjoining a hotel/conference center.
Guys, go to this fine restaurant! Visit UCLA and eat there!! This place is not expensive! You get 20% discount by default - they don't take gratuity!! I wish restaurants in LA will follow. Staffs are happy as they get all benefits of regular employee. Kudos to UCLA and the State of CA! Soup and san
Service was amazing- so ironic that the one place I want to tip is progressive and headed in the right direction by not allowing tips and actually paying their servers a decent wage! Crazy stuff Food was so good. We have lived in Lebanon and this place’s hummus was the first authentic hummus we hav
Delicious and fresh! Got the pizza, octopus, and hamburger. Fun to eat with a friend
My wife and I were on campus to see our son and wanted to grab a bite while we waited. We really wanted to try Epicurian, but it was closed due to a gas leak so we headed to Plateia. We shared a nice salad, tasty carrots and a fine mushroom and pepperoni pizza. Everything was well prepared and taste
