Absolutely the best fish tacos I have had in SoCal. Every time I am in the area, this is my go to place. The seabass is fresh, the batter has a little ginger and spices for flavor, and the green sauce is delightful. Guy running it are super nice. The alley area with the seating is cute, but can get a little cold with the shade and wind. The chicken is really good, but when I am there, I always hit up those fish tacos.
Ordered a side of fried plantains. Smelled great and should have ordered more but based off the plantains…definitely eat here. (we had lunch next door, didn’t see this place). Will be back to try out more. (There were twice as many plantains, i just forgot to take a pic at first)
I ordered the fish plate which comes with salad, rice, fish and fries! I am not sure what that green dipping sauce was but it was so damn good! The gentleman was very nice and kind too!
I have Celiac and need to eat gluten free. The guy working was really kind and explained how their beef empanadas are 100% gluten free, and are prepped in a separate area. They are also cooked in a dedicated toaster oven. The empanadas were so delicious!
Anything with the rotisserie chicken is amazing. It’s so juicy, the spices are flavorful and light. The pickled onion hits just right. Music and atmosphere is loud and joyful
Every meal was outstanding, the Ceviche was better than expected and then the Sea Bass Tacos are why we will be returning. On top of that, the roasted chicken was juicy and full of flavor throughout
Seriously delicious food! The beef empanadas are to die for!! Even better than that Argentine place in Mar Vista. The meat inside was so tender and flavorful and the dipping sauce was really good. The fish tacos were also excellent, probably the best I’ve ever had. My husband who is usually a picky eater loves the food here also. The gentleman working there is also very courteous. Can’t wait to go back.
Phenomenal rotisserie chicken- best I've ever had anywhere, and great fish tacos even though I don't usually like fish tacos! The man working the restaurant was very nice and treated my wife and I like we were his only customers. Highly recommended!
Right off the boardwalk, with plenty of seating on a busy Labor Day weekend, is this little gem of a Peruvian restaurant. The service was friendly and fast, the food was delicious and plentiful. I had fish tacos, my husband got ceviche, which came with a delightful array of spices, corn, and sweet potato, my niece got the lomo sandwich. Definitely a highlight was the yucca fries. One drawback is that prices aren’t posted so it was a little bit of a sticker shock.
asked the guy at the window if i should get the fried chicken sandwich or the chicharon, he told me get the chicharon and if i didnt like it i get my money back. once it was ready he asked me to tell him how i liked it, but i was so hypnotized by how delicious the sandwich was i totally forgot to let him know it was one of the best i’ve ever had. so good, food was hot and the green sauce on the side was fire. thank yo for the great service !!!!
