One of my favorite spots on the west side. I have been a patron of theirs since their Sawtell location. The quality has not diminished since the move. Delicious meals for all pallets.
Curry is delicious! Has great flavor and you have the option of choosing how spicy you want to make it. After the curry, the rice is surprisingly the next star. Props to them for using the short grain sushi style rice. I could eat just the curry sauce over rice all day!

For my first time eating here, it exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too squished or loud. The staff were friendly. The food came quickly, as the name suggests, and was full of flavor. It's nice that they let you decide how spicy you want the food to be.
We drive all the way from the San Fernando Valley for their curry. We are so glad they found new spot. We've been going to them for decades. Always good food.
Finally a Japanes curry place that has VEGAN curry!! Most other places near us sneak in butter, milk, or cream. Great flavor!
The food is really good here. The service here is also really great. All of the curry sauces are full of flavor and there is a great variety of items to eat here even if you have an allergy or intolerance. I have been coming here for 10 years and will continue to go here!
I've been eating at Hurry Curry since 1986... I thought they had shut down altogether, so it was great going to their new location is Santa Monica!
I've been to hurry curry quite a few times, and I prefer it to the other curry options on Sawtelle. Overall the place is nothing fancy, and the seating is a bit limited. They have plenty of different options, sometimes even offering a curry ramen which is decent. Every option has an adjustable spice
