I absolutely love this cute and friendly gem on Melrose Ave. The ramen is some of the best in town. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. This is my go to spot to bring friends and family!
New go to spot. Loved it. Good food, service, definitely a great place to go to
I almost don’t want to give this place away, but it’s the best ramen joint in town. And it’s the best looking ramen in town, too. Each bowl served is worthy of an Instagram post.
Beer, wine, soju and sake are served here. You can sit up at the ramen bar or at the comfortable tables.
Highly recommend making a reservation if you are definitely eating ramen that day. I was really grateful how flexible they were with our reservation. We made it for 7, and called at 6:45 to let them know we would be more around 7:30 and they were super accommodating.
Plenty of street parking out front. You can bring your dogs here as long as you remain in their outdoor patio in the back with the cozy fire pits.
My favorite is the spicy ramen, with the fresh garlic and onion on the side. Expect to pay $20/person for a bowl of ramen and a drink or a side dish. Ramen noodles are thick. Gluten free noodles available alongside lots of vegan options 😊
I wish my egg was more soft boiled but that’s my preference 💁🏻♀️
Sushi was delicious. Staff was attentive. Vibe was chill. We stopped in for a quick bite and was surprised by how delicious it was. I appreciated the small portions but of course I ordered doubles lol.
Came in for a quick meal before going to Malibu. And was very satisfied. The waiter was very attentive and a sure me the food wont take long. The menu wasn’t complicated very user friendly. They even have specials for happy hour. The day i went was on a weekday around 4ish. Try the E.A.K shoyu it kinda taste like chicken noodle soup a little.
Really nice restaurant with friendly attentive service, bespoke decoration and beautiful broth. The noodles are really delicious and they have nice appetizers too. Only downside is I asked for extra soup and the soup they gave me was overly salty.
Took a cheat day off keto & ate here with my Japanese boyfriend! He works close by and alway comes here! We ordered the karage chicken (his favorite) fries, and the E.A.K Ramen! I got the the Sexy Strawberry drink also! It was all so delicious and I would eat here again. Happy hour is the best and the prices are affordable overall!
My kid had the eak ramen with Naruto. I had the hot and spicy ramen. And we split an order of goyza. Roman broth is delicious you can tell it's a slow simmer broth bone broth. Very rich very tasty noodles may be handmade, very delicious quality. Dumplings were pork and Ginger and were exceptionally good. It was a chilly evening but a well heated roofed patio area was lovely. And made for a great break in the pandemic and restaurant closures.
Good ramen place on Melrose. Excellent drink options both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The ramen had pork and chicken broth. The thick noodle was chewy without being chalky. Good variety of other Japanese snacks/appetizers. Smaller portions.
Great option for iekei ramen. The soup and noodles are excellent, the chashu is good but I found it too tender and didn't hold it's shape as a result. The ajitama was okay; the whites we're harder than they should've been. The sides and appetizers were delicious too.
Went here with my parents, who aren’t normally ramen eaters. We’re all vegetarian, so I appreciated the several veg options and clear veg labeling on the menu.
We split a few apps - the tofu bao, lotus root salad, and rice avocado salmon bowl. The tofu bao was the stand out - would def order again. Lotus root was fine but a bit muddled tasting somehow. The rice bowl was plain and simple - nothing to write home about.
For ramen - my parents got the v-garden ramen and seemed to like it - my dad said it’s like vegetable soup with noodles. My partner and I split the go green ramen and mushroom ramen. Both were good - the mushroom ramen broth was a *bit* too salty but the mushrooms and ramen noodles were great. The broth for the go green ramen was delicious.
Service was alright. Some of the staff was great, some a little less attentive.
Would return for the tofu bao and the go green ramen. Would try some new things too.
Wow! This place has some of the best vegetarian & vegan ramen and izakaya eats I’ve ever had (including in Japan). The Go Green bowl broth was what I have been craving since I stopped eating pork years ago. A creamy vegetarian broth??? Perfect noodles and amazing fried tofu small plates too plus very friendly and helpful staff. We loved it.🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
