Better than I even expected it to be. I usually never give kudos to service, but being that the service was so spot on.. I needed to mention it. The burrata was the best I ever tasted.. and that's saying a lot. It's not only the fact they used the pistachios, it's how they used them. That perfect cr
Slightly upscale semi casual Italian dining right off the Venice boardwalk. Food is somewhat plain, but fresh ingredients. Not a fan of the cannoli dessert (cannoli shell too thick and brittle for me).
Nice restaurant near the beach with outdoor seating. I was confused that they don't give free bread for an Italian restaurant, and the ciabatta I ordered for $5 wasn't very good. They also didn't bring me Olive oil and pepper at first. The butcher was excellent though.
I’ve been to a couple of times to this nice cozy comfortable restaurant. The upbeat décor and stylish orange-colored atmosphere perfectly matched the beautiful picturesque Venice Beach. Salad, bread, pickles, pasta, steak, pizza and dessert are all delicious! Sipping a glass of wine makes you feel y
Beautiful interior and decoration. They have so many painting by handmade. I never seen so many handmade painting at the restaurant. The price is very reasonable! The food quality is fantastic! Real authentic Italian food. This is not American Italian restaurant. Please don’t go if you want free bre
Great atmosphere, fireplace, low jazz. Excellent food and legendary italian service.
Excellent tartar, pizza was crisp and fresh with delicious ingredients, calamari was cooked very well with a great grilled char and excellent texture, pasta was fantastically seasoned and well cooked, and the tiramisu was very good. Service was very attentive despite the restaurant getting busy. Wou
A delightful dining experience. Beautifully romantic setting and ambiance, the service is attentive and engaged. The menu is filled with fantastic offerings with fresh ingredients and great tastes. Magnificent wine selections and always a festive gathering of eager patrons. We spent two New Year's E
My husband and I love the food, service & location with a bit of a view (Venice Beach). Our new "go to" place. FYI, there are a few vegetarian choices. My take: The gnocchi tastes like more! Espresso, the best! Tiramisú is scrumptious. My husband's take: The best clams with linguini. Very good wine
The food in this restaurant is awesome! When I think Italian food, the California coast is not what comes to mind but this restaurant changed my mind. When the food first comes out it looks like really small portions but you end up leaving very satisfied. I went during the fall and they had a Pumpki
A pretty good restaurant at the Venice beach of Los Angeles city. The place has beautiful decoration, very good variety of wines, as well as beers. We have ordered seafood (Octapus, shellfish and squid) and it was very tasty. The staff is helpful and polite.
One of the best Italian food places. If you want to smell what food heaven must be like order their "Browned butter mushroom ravioli". I am sure their pizzas are pretty good too but we ordered carbonara and ravioli. Must try !!
The stars (and other reviews) say it. Fantastic on all counts; Food, service, ambiance, food (did I say food?) We had the lamb pappardelle, caviar ravioli and truffle pizza. The service was flawless. In LA, I've been to many top restaurants where you're looking around for your server and nothing
Great location, as close to the beach as you can get without getting sand in your shoes.. Ordered a pasta "Carbonara", the Holy Grail of sauces for any respectable Roman native like myself...and it was flawless, a perfectly poached egg on top included! Calamari fritti was another " test", passed wit
One of the best Italian restaurants you'll find in Santa Monica, Osteria has a bit of everything for the sophisticated palate. Pastas are freshly made, with sauces to write home about. An extensive wine list makes Osteria a perfect place for a romantic dinner.
The Osteria Venice West is a really nice restaurant. The wooden interior with high ceilings creates a cozy feeling while still giving the feeling of openness. The place is owned by an Italian, who truly understands how to create authentic Italian dishes with a tad of fusion. I had the burrata and tr
Very friendly service. You could tell the gentleman who greeted and guided us to our table (maybe the owner?) cared deeply about providing the best experience for every guest. He came by again at the end to make sure we were happy. Food was great if a bit overpriced. Would have liked to see more veg
