Owner was real friendly and explained how they cooked their food with pride they’d been there for 30+ years. Food overall was very tasty and authentic. Staff was attentive. Decor was clean and well decorated. Prices average. Post meal tea with desert pastry with honey was surprisingly good.
Not what I was expecting from a Persian restaurant in LA. The food Itself is not too bad but the presentation and environment can get a lot better. Not to mention the chef/manager is very nice and attentive and explains in details (quite a lot!) how every kabob is being made.
This place so worth the drive. The staff was very friendly and even shared info about thier cultural and the food that it made the visit so worth it. The food itself was so flavoral that my tastebuds wenr into over drive. One of the best places. The ice cream was like eating rose Petals. You to try
Yum ! Good food and a good selection of vegetarian items. And I like the guy who plays the piano (keyboard)
Not bad stop very good surface. Food 4.5 star
I stopped in west Hollywood on a solo dinner date and had a very pleasant experience at Javan Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Basmati rice is my absolute favorite thing in the world. You'll be glad you stopped for this delicious Persian food.
Amazing food and service!!! From the moment we entered, the waiter and owner greeted us with a smile. Welcomed us to sit down and treated us with so much attention. The food is authentic and the service is outstanding. Don’t miss this place for some great middle eastern food. Loved the Ash Joe si
Javan Restaurant in Los Angeles is awesome! The food is delicious, and the people who work there are really nice. The place has a cool vibe, and I loved trying the different Persian dishes. It's a great spot for tasty food and a good time!
One of the best experiences ever, made by an exceptionally talented waiter and the leadership of Alex, the owner. So glad to meet great business owners! I’ll come back for sure!
I went there with a friend on weekday night for dinner. I got a Fesenjan Lamb shank and he got a beef Kobideh. They have complimentary pita bread. The portion was pretty big. I had a full size rice and my friend had a full size salad. I didn’t finish the shank and rice. The shank was very tender.
